I'm from Gatineau, which is right next to Ottawa, Ontario. But I go to school in Sherbrooke, and drive through Montreal all the time to get there hehe. A lot of my friends go to school in Montreal and I have some family from there as well so I'm pretty familiar with the city. :)

Chocolat (mmmmmh, chocolate AND johnny depp, what else can you ask for?), eternal sunshine of the spotless mind (very good movie), notting hill, bridget jones 1 or 2, there's something about mary, notting hill, LOVE ACTUALLY (I totally adore this movie, it's sooo sweet).

I think "You've Got Mail" or "Sleepless in Seattle" both with Tom Hanks are so romantic....
