I want to watch a movie tonight and I'm really in the mood for a romantic oh so sweet movie. I've seen all the recent chickflics... Any suggestions?

I'm a cynic when it comes to romances, and I don't watch many, so when I buy one it's because it's exceptional to me. Having said that, I can second (and third) both Amelie and Chocolat. I also highly, highly, highly recommend Pride & Prejudice (the newest one with Keira Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen - I've seen it at least a dozen times).
This is going to seem an off-beat choice, because it is, but also try Punch Drunk Love. It's not one of the same old Adam Sandler movies and his co-star is Emily Watson. I guess I prefer this one because in his other movies, Sandler is so charming and easy to love. In this one, he's this complicated, awkward, reserved and sort of desperate man. Watson seems to quietly encourage his love in probably the only way that he ever could have been convinced to open up to someone. They're both so strange and so perfect for each other.
