"every room should have ... "

I cant find this online and maybe it was one persons opinion but i thought they were quoting some rule of thumb that every room should have ....

it was a list of 5-7 items. Anyone heard of this? I believe included was a mirror, plant, clock, maybe a book, but when i initially heard it year back it seemed sensible and know im blanking. im not using it as basis for decorating as much as not remembering is nagging at me
