How I ruined my Life(And my diet) in 30 mins.HELP!

I came home and just NEEDED a half cup of ice cream. I could fit it in my calories and figure di deserved a treat. I did that but then felt HORRIBLE. I had alreayd eaten today more than usual and tonight is my father's birthday and we will be going out to eat at an itlaian restaurant( bread and pasta galore). i felt so bad that i eat an oz. of cheese and some crackers and a twizzler. it's only 4:30 and i'm alreayd at 738 calories!!! i feel full and awful and in an hour i won't be full and we won't be eating for another 2, 2 1/2 hours. how will i restrain my hunger, especially sicne tonight i'll be eating more for dinner than usual?? I feel like i've ruin all my progress, my "start new and fresh and healthy" attitude.EVERYTHING. it feels like everyday i make a mistake and have to start over! i'm doing jm 30-day shred and i bike almsot everyday for 20 mins but those ar enot that much. i feel horrible!!!HELP!

Gosh, I think you need to stop beating yourself up.... you're never going to last this in the long term if you keep bashing yourself everytime you have a treat.  Ok, too much will stand in the way of loosing calories, but you have to accept that  you are living life and you have to do the best that you can do!!!  Stop obsessing about calories, try keep the blood sugar levels balanced.... if you eat too much sugar you will crave sugar, or if you eat carbs too high in GL or GI you will have a craving as they are high in sugar.  I always crave sweet things the week before I get my period and have to allow myself something so as it will settle my nerves.

Dining out is especially special to those who are loosing weight as if you are restricting your calories then you should really enjoy when you dine out.  Just keep calm, look at the menu, drink a couple of glasses of water before you eat, choose a nice meal that is not full of fats or processed carbs.  Rather than having dessert have a salad or soup starter.... or if you really want desert try get a healthy option and if all else fails and you really want a cheesecake, etc.... get one with someone else or better still share with 2 other people.... then you have your little taste of something nice without going overboard..... and don't be afraid to leave food on the plate if you don't feel like eating it.

Just because you are trying to loose weight, doesn't mean you have to stop living.  But I think you need to balance those sugar levels and drink lots of water.... about 2 litres per day.... it is amazing how it can kill the hunger.

Please just stop beating yourself up and train your thoughts... you need to think more about yourself and realise that you are plenty capable of making the right choices.............. Good Luck x

Hey, don't be so hard on yourself!!!  Losing weight means making a LIFESTYLE change.  So, if you intend to lose weight and keep it off think about it this way... it's not what you eat, but mainly your portion sizes.  I just took a class in college:  Clinical Aspects of Weight Management, and the one thing that was stressed in that class was to not eliminate foods from your life in order to lose weight, but rather, eat responsibly.  You are only human, so you are destined to have slip-ups where you eat more than you know you should.  So, have room for mistakes to happen.  Just try to remind yourself of how you should be eating, and aim to do better the next day.  A food diary should help you make better choices, I think.  So, please, stop being so hard on yourself and enjoy food- but, in reasonable portions.  The calorie counting you're doing is a great idea.  Dieting should not be a punishment to your body- it should be you leading your body to a healthier you.  Hope this helps.  Cool
