Please add 5.0 miles for Wed 9/24 and 5.0 miles for today. Love those intervals.
3.1 miles of, yup, intervals today. (Will the 8 miles I posted on Wednesday get credited over here?)
Mine were in the rain, jfk, how's the weather at your house?
2.5 easy miles on Thursday and another 3 miles today. Today's run felt really good - was able to keep up some speed.
Hey everyone--I just got back from the Boston area. As always, I had a great time. My mileage is as follows: Thursday, 8 miles; Friday, 7.5 miles; Saturday 13.1 miles (HM race).
Speaking of my HM race on Saturday, it was a new PR in the distance (1:32:08)--a pleasant surprise, I must admit.
7.6 miles for me yesterday, and 2.0 miles this morning.
The weather is stuck on nice here skinny_kitty. I actually got delayed in starting my long run yesterday trying to get tickets for an Obama speech that starts in 30 minutes at a high school 5 blocks north of where I am right now! Didn't get the tickets, and it put my run into the middle part of the day which was actually kinda hot, so I shortened it up.
wrm - way to go on the HM! I'm in awe!
3.1 miles for me for yesterday. I haven't been hit by the same letdown and lack of motivation that followed my HM in the spring. I think I was able to launch a pre-emptive strike by having some training goals in place for post-marathon before I ran the marathon. I have truly enjoyed getting out to run these last few days - and I have been able to increase my pace a little bit. Looking to beat my HM PR next spring and beat my marathon PR next September.
3 miles of intervals again yesterday.
Starting to get chilly enough to make my ears hurt a bit. I'm okay in a t-shirt, but my ears are freezing. Ugh. It's supposed to be in the low 50's, but sunny, for the HM on Sunday. I think I'd rather be a little cold than too hot, though, jfk. I just melt in the slightest heat.
And wrm, is it me or is your half time just getting better and better?

No, it's not you. I shaved 3 minutes off my PR from seven weeks ago. Don't ask how it happened, I wasn't expecting it, especially since this was on a somewhat hilly course (my HM in August was on totally flat terrain).
Ignore me! This is the group... I thought I saw the last post in the forums - didn't realise it came up in both.
Will all our mileage from the other thread get added on?
12.2miles today
6.25 miles for the week ending 9/30. It was a pretty full life week, resulting in a an anemic running week.
4.8 miles of intervals today. The brain wanted to make it a nice round five miles, but the hamstring objected.
I agree skinny_kitty--cold is better than hot. I struggled with my times all summer long, and now that the days are shortening up, I'm back to working on PRs.
