Excerpt:

"Kress believes that the weight-loss programs themselves are to blame, claiming that diets don't work for 45 percent of dieters because they have a different kind of metabolism, which she calls "Metabolism B."

According to Kress, unlike those with "Metabolism A," calorie restriction doesn't help those with type B."

(Shameless bump)

Bumped new title.

Nothing wrong with bumping... or grinding...

Metabolism B is a little weird though - they are saying that all metabolisms are differrent  - not the same - many differences  - yada yada -  and are less and more efficient - but at the same time try to crowd them into A and B metabolisms - so we're all differrent but can be pegged as A or B.

Having a slow metabolism sucks - but the rules still apply I guess... burn more than you consume...

At the same time - it does provide millions of poeple with an excuse - "I'm a type B metabolism" - now pass the cake.

That is an interesting take but I don't think eating cake is what the author had in mind, in fact she suggests the exact opposite for type Bs.
