Hi. I've been going for a 20 minute walk everynight and a 10-15 minute run every second night when I can for maybe a week week and   a half. And since I started I've lost an inch around my waist, is this because of the walking and running?

definitely, if you want to lose inches i found that for me running can be an instant help in that!

i never thought it would. then i measured myself and was like whhattt?

did it do anything for your thighs? 

This is great news and good motivation!  I just started running too and I really need to lose about an inch and a half from my waist.  I guess I'll keep running and see what the results are.
