Running in place?
Is jogging in place an effective exersize? Most days, I can't get to a treadmill or a nice outdoor jogging area, so I will "jog" inside for 30 minutes or so. I don't stop to walk or "take a break", and I usually end up somewhat 'sweaty', so do you think that's still a good workout?
I also take one or two 40 minute walks as well, and when I'm home I try not to be too inactive.

I wouldn't see why not. I do a little bit of that, but try to add some hip movement, or ab twist. Because unlike outside I doubt your home has inclines and declines lol. I think as long as your heart rate is up and your sweating... it should be a good workout... but Im no expert.
