Is there anyone else who would like to take up the challenge of a 120's/110's club. I think that we could use some support too. I found them for the 130's and I was in that one, but now i'm below and need a new group, so I'm starting one. Anyone want to join? It doesn't matter if you are already there or if this category is your goal! I'm 5'6" and at a 126lbs. My goal is my prepregnancy weight of 115 lbs. I currently eat 1,200 calories a day, and burn 1,900. I've been eating healthy, and not really exercising, but would like to start soon. Anyone who wants to join, feel free! Let's all support each other!
That's really unhealthy for your height
I'm very active, and also teach aerobics and dance several times per week. I know per the BMI it seems unhealthy, but I'm fine. I still have parts that bulge out that I'm annoyed with.
It's not because you are very active that it is more healthy! You need to tone maybe, just by gaining some muscle, you won't look bigger but you'll be better health wise
This whole process is quite frustrating. I evidently am the type that stay the same weight for what seems like ever, then BOOM, it drops, or gains.
The only two things I can really do for cardio are elliptical and bike riding because my ankle is slowly refusing to heal

I'm 5'6" and weight 140lbs give or take, I definately NEVER want to be below 130lbs cause I want to keep my beautiful body healthy.
And I'm sure you look fantastic, raven! That's a great (and healthy!) weight for your height.
can i join? i'm 5'5" and currently hovering around 120, though i'd really like to get down to 115 before christmas!!
I'd like to join too! I'm 5'2" and currently at 124. I dropped down to about 120 before my vacation (Hawaii!) and came back and realized I seem to have gained it all back. Trying to get back down to my pre-quitting smoking, pre-relationship weight of 108.
it's a long, long treck to 110 from 190, but currently at 186 (up .5 from last monday - boo hoo). sea ya, shel
actually, I'm down .5 from last week, whew!
Seeing people that are 5'6" and 5'7" and 5'8" post to this thread really concerns me.... I'm 5'7" and 137... if I dropped even to 130, it would be BAD.... can't even believe some of you want to be so emaciated and post to these forums like it's a good and healthy thing to get that far down on the scale.
Hey there,
I'm trying to reach 110 from 132 by February 14, 2007. I'm 5'4, and I have an average frame, I think. I'm currently flunctuating between 120 and 125 depending on how much I've drank and such.
Just for the record, I'm not trying to be unhealthy and/or sickly thin. www.kidshealth.com states that 110 would still be considered a healthy weight for me. They have a broader range of "healthy weights." In spite of this broad range, I was still in the higher percentages.

Hey! I would like to join as well. I am trying to reach 120 pounds by march of next year. I am currently around 132, and am 5'6. I am not active anymore on account of school, but once my schedule slows down I will have a lot more time for exercising. I'm never really that hungry, so i don't consume a lot of food. On days when I haven't eaten very much, I ensure i drink a few glasses of milk to get my calorie intake up. I am quite happy with my body now, but my arms and my upper thigh needs some weightloss. I know I can't 'target' a weightloss area, so thats why I am just losing weight overall. I hope to tone up my arms as well. And in reply to raehn: some people have very small bones, and perhaps you are thicker boned than other people and thats why you can't imagine dropping down to that weight, whereas other people who are smaller bones would still remain healthy. I understand that people post comments like that out of concern, but this constant, what seems like harassment, is growing tedious to read.
I am 5'1" and currently 117. I would love to get back to my lowest of this summer, 109 or even 107. Not sure this old body is up for the challenge! I am a small framed (almost)43 yo woman. maybe I am destined to be around 115.

that really pisses me off too, 5'6" and 110 give me a break. All it does is make feel FAT! Is age a factor in any of this?

According to most BMI charts, for someone 5'6" a healthy weight can be as low as 114.5. So for someone 5'6" to post here isn't bad..

5'6" 130-134 is considered "ideal" body weight according to this site or 121-125 if you're a small frame. 114 pounds at that height puts your BMI at 18, getting you kicked off the runway at Madrid. Congrats.

This is so ridiculous. Girls want to lose weight. It may not be your ideal weight, but they're not doing it for you; They're losing weight for themselves. Don't hassle them if you think they're unhealthy. Don't hassle them if you don't like the image they're going for. It's just ridiculous.
