Is there anyone else who would like to take up the challenge of a 120's/110's club. I think that we could use some support too. I found them for the 130's and I was in that one, but now i'm below and need a new group, so I'm starting one. Anyone want to join? It doesn't matter if you are already there or if this category is your goal! I'm 5'6" and at a 126lbs. My goal is my prepregnancy weight of 115 lbs. I currently eat 1,200 calories a day, and burn 1,900. I've been eating healthy, and not really exercising, but would like to start soon. Anyone who wants to join, feel free! Let's all support each other!

they're just trying to help. I'm sure people think it's out of jealousy or whatever, but even if they were completely jealous...they are speaking the TRUTH! You should not weigh 110 at 5'9. I don't care how heavy or light your bones are, what your frame is. There are definitely girls on here that are healthy, but there are definitely girls that have serious issues. You can DIE from anorexia and bulimia. die! So, I know that I, for one, will not stop saying things if the numbers someone posts seem seriously concerning.

I know you are healthy, lea :)
Laura, Raehn wasn't kicking you off the thread.  She was referring to the fact that runway models who have an unhealthy body weight have been not allowed to walk in fashion shows in Madrid.  It was a big news item not long ago.  THEY were kicked off the runway--you aren't being kicked off the thread. She was just pointing out that some people are striving for unhealthy ideals, not judging.  She was just pointing out the correct facts.

I too have been surprised by the number of girls on this thread who are 5'6 and want to weigh less that what i want to weigh at my lowest at a height of 5'3.

5'4" and goal of 110.  Lowest I got to was 112.  But that was before my vacation :)

I'm trying to jump back in to my regular routine of eating healthy, cuz I bought new jeans on vacation when I was 5 pounds lighter, and now they are a bit tight.
I'm extremely surprised as well, you would think with ALL the information available on this site that people would make wiser choices for their lifestyle.

Most of the women posting on this thread are AT an ideal weight already.

I didn't say anything about ideal weight. I said healthy weight. According to most bmi charts (not the one on this website) such as http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/ someone who is 5'6" can weight 114.5, putting them at a bmi of 18.5, which is healthy. Anything under that is underweight. I was just saying that because this thread inlcudes people in their 120s...someone posting who is 5'6" is not necessarily unhealthy. I do agree, though, that there are people posting unhealthy stats and goals.
Oh my GOD!
WHY does every thread have to end up in a battle about what's healthy or not.
If people want to be thinner than thin let them, you're not going to change them.
I'd like to join, but are we really going to get support or get haggled by people who think we are trying to be unhealthy?

I'm 5'4" and currently at 135 1 yr post-pregnancy. My goal weight is 125, which is still more than I weighed before pregnancy but I'm trying to be reasonable.

I'm really struggling at getting stuck at this 135 mark. I drop 4 or 5 pounds fairly easy and then I feel comfortable eating out or missing a few workouts and I'm back up to 139 before I know it.

I currently workout 5/6 days per week. 30 minutes cardio and lifting light weights, I consume about 1200-1400 cal. daily. I would like to learn more about how people have overcome the plateau.

So, how will this work??  People want to join, but what next??
I'm 5'5/5'6 and I weigh about 115 pounds, want to get down to 108-110, I was 111 pounds over the summer, but school started again and the stress has made me eat more than I did previously. I can't seem to lose anymore weight though, usually I can lose about 3 pounds a week, now I'm just staying at 115 pounds.
I would love to join.  I'm  5''2 and 125 now, and on my way to my 120 goal weight.  Once I reach 120, I will re-evaluate.  I think I wouldn't mind being 115, but I'm not sure if that's possible.

Now that I am so close to goal weight, things are going a lot more slowly.  I'm patient.  I'm still losing, just not the way I was back at 150lbs.
Seraph,

If things bother you so much, why even be involved on the sight or why repsond? Must be draining; always feeling you are the voice of reason.

I'd like to join too but I'd like to keep this group supportive.

I am new to C-C just joined Monday.

dpalacios sounds like we are in similar circumstance!  So if you need a buddy I'd be happy to help.

I'm 5'4/5'5 at 137.  My goal weight is 118- but if I get a chance to exercise regularly and build up muscle mass I'd be happy with 122-125.  I am in my early 30's and I am 5 months post back-to-back pregnancies.

I used to workout 1-2 hours a day 5 days a week.  But having 2 kids under 2 years old and working full time doesn't leave much time for that anymore.  I just started jogging again- starting at 15 minutes a day (how depressing!).

I want to reclaim my body and my healthy and I think C-C is a good place to do this.   We can help eachother stay motivated!
Why are you at eachothers throats? This is the only thread I've seen people fight in and I don't understand what the problem is.

Christ..
Lea,

I am just irritated with every thread I go into having rude remarks from a certain someone. I am really not fighting, just annoyed. Oh and FYI... you have missed some very interesting "have at it's" on these forums. Sorry if I joined the emotional post club. Forgive me.
I'd like to join, but my goal is only 120 =\ Is that ok?
Mary1627 - I'm in - I think you have a good start even being able to run for 15 minutes daily. I'm also in my early 30's and I can't even imagine having 2 little ones to manage, one is so much! Kudos to you for trying to get back on track so soon!

How do you want to go about supporting eachother?
Oh piss off Shill I haven't even been posting much lately.
Rude remarks my ass,  I will show you rude remarks, you're doing the same thing you're accusing me off, hypocrite!
Seraph,

You're absolutely right. Sorry.
This is to those concerned about the tall girls in this thread.

I am a dancer, and when I was 120 lbs and 5' 9"/5' 10" I was told by my doctor that, though I had a slightly low BMI, I was perfectly healthy (I do have a small frame), and that my blood pressure, body fat %, and cardio health was amazing. If you are concerned about wether or not your weight is healthy, try a visit to your doctor. Not all people fit into those set scales, and charts.

I was dancing and eating a high nutrient, balanced diet, when I was 120 lbs. I was 128 lbs for years when I was eating pizza, and other junk food (I don't purge, or starve...ever >.< It's not healthy!) the dance must have been keeping me thin. I'm just trying to say that everyone has a different body type, so please don't be too harsh on tall girls who want to feel healthy.

I am totally out of shape now, and I had a baby one year ago. I'm 140 lbs, so I don't fit into my clothes, and people in my family are telling me that I'm getting fat >.< I have been eating too much junk, and I'm really out of shape. I just want to feel healthy again, so please don't be too hard on tall girls like me =\

Anyway I might decide to stay at 125 lbs, when I get there. If it works for me, and I'm not planning on starving. I really want to eat right, and get in shape by exercising.
WOW....I go away from this thread for a couple of days and ya'll start fighting about what's healthy or not. I was looking for people to support one another, not for people to tear each other down. I don't think that anyone besides a doctor is in any place to tell someone what too small is for them. I'm sorry, but really, if you don't have the degree, who are you to say that people aren't healthy. Everyone comes from a different background, I personally am small boned, and felt very healthy at 115 lbs. The doctors never told me that I was unhealthy when I was that weight, so why should I be concerned about what you people getting all angry at us think? As long as these girls are having regular check ups, and the doctors say that everything is fine. Oh, and didn't your mothers ever teach you that if you don't have anything nice to say, then don't say anything at all. To all with the negative opinions, who are tearing others down....take it somewhere else, you are not welcome here. This is a positive thread!!!!!!!
