160's club

I've been in the 190's club and the 180's club. I thought I'd start a 160's club because I find these clubs motivating to get to my next goal. Right now I'm 168.8 and I'd love to get into the 150's by the end of August.

I'm 5'2 and I started out 225 at the start of July last year. I've come a long way, but I still have a ways to go.

Anyone else in the 160's and want to get to 150's?

I'm in - 167lbs and hoping to be at 150lbs by mid August.

I've literally only started my diet yesterday and it's been so long since I've been on a calorie controlled diet (been on slimming world instead) that I almost feel skeptical it will work...but I am making the effort! 

169 here, I'm at a plateu and need help jumping over.

5'6 started at 208 in Oct.  would also like to be in 150's by the end of August (or sooner) :)

Me too. I'm stuck at 165. The six pounds from 171 to 165 were a breeze, but I've been an absolute angel with food and exercise, and can't seem to budge off this plateau. Maybe joining the 160s will help.

Good to see there are more 160's people out there. I'm 167.2 as of this morning. So a bit closer to my goal.

I'm in! I started at 214lbs, CW- 164, only 7 more to go! But summer is here and that is the hardest time for me... Too much good food, good bevvies w/ good friends!

Supertempdonna, I was skeptical too, only because it is super simple, almost seemed too simple... Cals in vs. cals out.

 

Me too!  I'm 5'6" and started CC at 202, 168 now; I'd love to be in the 150s sometime in August.  Go us!

Whoo! Am down a pound this morning to 166lbs - nice to see a result so soon in the diet. It's a start!

I'm at 161 here. Too bad a plateau has reared its ugly head. Now, I'm stepping up my activity level and just thinking about 150.

it's my current goal to get INTO this club, does that count? lol!

greeneyedbellydancer: I don't think we are that picky.

It's the weekend . I'm usually good on weekdays, and struggle more on weekends. It's my hometown's big fair weekend so I'll have more alcohol than usual and probably indulge in some other treats too, but I'll try to behave and still have fun.

jinxozzie Awesome job on the weight loss! I am so impressed. I've just gotten out of the 160 group, otherwise I would join you. Good luck and keep up the amazing work.

Hello everyone! I don't usually post on these boards--just read them--but I thought I should maybe join a motivating group like this to help me out.  I'm 5'6" and as of this morning, I weighed in at 168. I would like to get to 150 by the end of August. 

I just enrolled in a "boot camp" at my local health club, so hopefully that'll help with the exercise front.  My biggest problem is binge eating. I've had a serious problem for the past 3 years, but it hasn't affected my weight until these last four months or so (I've gained 12 pounds).  I see my weight spiraling out of control, and I need to do something NOW to stop it.

I hope it's not too late to join this group...

Weekend is over and I didn't behave too badly.

I have a day and a half of teaching then summer vacation!! Woo Hoo!

Good thing about vacation: lots of time for diet and excersise.

But.... also lots of summer BBQ's and temptations. Hope everyone had a good weekend.

I've struggled this week to be good. So hard when you are in vacation mode. Must get back on track.

This post has gotten really quiet. I'm finally back on track and where I was. Hope everyone else is doing well.

I'd like to join the club, but not for too long  =P

I plateaued in the 170's, so I'm hoping to zoom right through the 160's and into the 150's! I'm at 167.5lbs right now and started at 197lb, so that's almost a 30-pound loss so far. Yay! It would be nice to see everybody here in a 150's club sometime next month!

I'd also love to be out of the club by sometime next month.

I started dieting two years ago and went from 217 to 149, then I got lazy and went back up to 175. Now I'm back in the saddle again. Today I weighed in at 163, so I hope to be exiting the 160's soon Instead of considering what I'm doing as a diet, I'm trying to view it as a lifestyle change. I finally commited to being a total vegetarian, which has helped in a lot of ways. I'm also exercising every day which has helped me rest better. So, all and all, I'm happy to be in the 160s and I'm looking forward to seeing some of you in the 150s club.
