I'm revved up and ready to blast through a tough workout tonight. Going to drag the boy down to the gym and work out hard. Going to push myself like potter said, and break new records. I normally do at least an hour (30 cardio, 30 weights). I think I'll try for hour and half, most of it being weights this time. Haha I'm going to be smokin'

Oh Ladies!  What a Awsome Weekend!  Kung Fu fun was had by all.  I am pretty tired.  My Scale says 188lbs, 30% fat, 47.7% H2O.  Not bad, no weight loss but I can't keep my pants up.  So that is a good thing.

Also, I had a little body image realization.  Last night I was on the airplane looking at the cover of Women's health... and I had accidently covered the girl from the boobs up so all I could see was her hips and stomach... and I realized  My hips/Stomach are just about EXACTLY like hers!  Everything I hated about my body is on this model.  She had the little pooch between her hips, she had the wierd lumps on her sides above her hips.  The only difference is I have more muscle in the thigh area and I am fair skined.  So then I moved the paper and added her boobs to the picture.  And that is it.  I look overweight because I have 38DDs. 

So.  I am Still 10 lbs heavier then I should be.

Can I really? I'm just crzy Island boylol

 I'm proud of you for working hard...that's the spirit.  I had such a tough workout yesterday...it was really really bad..haha, but my stamina is improving.

Nasuoni - technically I feel fine. I just get angry when I don't work out quite as well as I am used to.  I'm going to move my work-out time to 8 p.m. again, so that it feels like I'm working out at the exact same time.  Time of day is a huge factor in how much energy I have.  And... Good luck with your workout!

Lilsmiter - If your look is just like the model, then you are a good size, I bet. You're the same size upstairs as I am, actually.  I'm cutting in between 38DD and 40D right now, and hopefully heading downward.

The good news with yesterday is that although I ate too much and I had a lousy workout, I still had a nice deficit, according to this calorie counter.  But the bad news is that I'm not losing anything, not even a few ounces.  Pants are tight too, and it's not near my period.

My calories for today are pretty high too, but I expect a better workout.  At 8 I'm going to go for as long as I can (a minimum of 30 minutes) and then when my legs are tired, I'm going to go weight lifting, just for toning, in my arms, back, and abs.  My latissimus muscle is very very strong for some reason.

180.3 LB today. :-(
Blah. Was down to 184 four days ago and then suddenly spiked up to 187, without eating enough to make that "real". Guess it's hormonal, but it's a bummer nonetheless. Here's hoping that it comes back down soon...

Reading this, though, makes me feel better. I'm sort of happy to be complaining in the 180s, instead of complaining in the 190s or 220s or 240s, like I used to be... :)

Let me rephrase, My shape was exactly the same, just a bit bigger.  I could probobly handle loosing that last 10 but I don't know if I should worry about it so much.  It's like I am pretty muscular... I don't know.  Frustrating!!

I'll could take a body shot and post it, you guys tell me if I should loose another 10.

I am getting my breast reduction May 21st.  That is pretty exciting, I can't wait to beable to wear cute bras and dresses... Oh to wear a dress! 

Sitting at 188lbs still, that is fine.  I had a Naughty bad night... I ate 1200 calories of Ice Cream.   Ehh could be worse.  all in all I am not too worried about that.

Tonight is Gloved sparing.  Wish me luck!

Leo~ I didn't go to the gym, but I worked out at home! Crunches, dumbbells and pushups oh my! :D I need to set a time for working out as well...Probably 7 for me.

Lilsmiter~ Good luck! And honestly, you're the only one who needs to tell you to lose weight or not. You know when you're the best you can be :)

I swear it's a fluke, but it's set me in a good mood, despite how tired I am, and how much my shoulder aches. I think I just need more restful sleep...haha

Lilsmiter - Ooo sounds nice, to only have 10 pounds to go.  And I'm thinking that I want breast reduction as well, trying to get my insurance to cover it.  But mine probably won't be until the beginning of August.  I still have 30.2 lb to lose before I'll allow the surgery.  As for your ice cream... at least you're not worried.  You can work it off sparring tonight.

Nasuoni - Ooo I should do some crunches and pushups.  I do a few leg lifting crunches almost everyday, but they're not doing much anymore.  As for your 175.8, I say, accept it.  You may have actually gotten to such a nice number!

Ooo! Lost an ounce today.  180.2.  I miss when I was sick and was able to drop 6 pounds in two days...

cool...if you guys need any home workouts....let me know...I think I can supply a couple...or even a quick routine.

Hi everyone!

I too need motivation.  I'm 23 5'6 183 lbs.  My goal is 136 which is a weight I have never before been at (so is 183).  I find that it helps to get all my goals out into the open and talk about what I'm doing to achieve that goal. I't makes me feel more guilty when I fall off track. I just had a baby last year, after he was born I was at 160 and VERY pleased with myself.  After 3-4 months I was put on the Depo shot and I quickly climed to what i'm at now.  I don't want to blame the shot for all of my weight gain I used to eat what I wanted and never gained any weight.  I guess those days are over. I'm working out for 30 mins on my lunch breaks and I've put myself on a 1300-1400/day cal diet.  I hope it's enough. I would love to have some buddies that can help motivate me and that I can help motivate as well.

Chrisie~ Welcome :D Depo is horrible. It makes everyone I've heard who's used it gain a TON of weight. We'll get to our goals! We're the same height, age, and almost the same weight, and my BMR is 1622. You may find that if you eat as little as 1300-1400, your weight loss may stall after awhile. It's been recommended to not go beneath your BMR when eating, but it's also disputed. I'm following my BMR, and while it's slow, I am still losing (down from 250 to 175 in three years I think this October!)

Stalling is bad...my BMR is 1653 so I should stay closer to that?  I have issues with sticking to stuff I say i'm going to do, especially if it's not working.  I don't have a problem with eating more Wink.  I'm off Depo now as of the end of February, I know that it's going to take awhile to get out of my system but it was horrible, it even made me cranky (just ask my husband). I'm glad that I have someone now in the same boat as me, thanks for that.      &nbs p;       & nbsp;      &nbs p;

In other news... I am going to see Lou off at the airport tomorrow, when he goes to his friend's wedding (holy saturday).  He invited me as his date, but my mother wanted me to be at home for Easter... Makes no sense, really...  Besides, I haven't been to New Jersey and downstate NY since 2005!

So I have kind of a dumb question.  Before I started my diet I was eating bad stuff but I wasn't eating a lot through the day.  Now that I'm on this diet I feel like I'm eating more good stuff than I was bad stuff. Could I gain weight by eating more good stuff or does it burn off faster and better than the bad stuff?

It's hard to say, it all depends on calories. I know that now I sure feel like I'm eating more because I eat more often. However, I eat less at a time.

But the only way to know whether or not you are going to gain weight is to count calories. And that's what you're here for, right?

193.5  Surprised lol I gained 5 lbs overnight.  I Blame the PMS fairy (the Biotch) and my sweet tooth which has been out of control.  Well So much for my pretty Tummy...  Well atleast for a week or 2. 

tonight I am getting a hair cut, then treadmill then bed.  Kitty is doing good, but I feel sorry for the little cone head!  I think I am going to go for the last 10 pounds but I am just going to focus on doing it Very slowly.

I put on my pants from when I was 165 today.  I realized that it's not that my Stomach is larger but my Thighs are way to big for those pants!  I love my thighs they are very muscular!  So I guess that is where alot of my weight went.  Still I think 178 is a good goal, it's the very top most "healthy" weight for me. 

Time for PMS diet... Tons and Tons of Ice Tea!  And I am donating blood at 12... doing a capital march (politics) at 11... that is 16 blocks, turn around take the shuttle back, sit down give a pint, drink more tea, eat some cookies, finish work... go home and walk/jog on the tread mill for a good hour... nice and easy so I don't get bloodloss dopy.  Tomarrow I have the day off, get sinus infection taken care of go home... Tread mill an hour... buy groceries.

Saturday... KUNG FU!  It is the Single/Double Nunchuku Festival.  That is an All-day event.  Maybe I can practice my Drunken Broadsword tomarrow?

Chrisie I gained on Depo too... but it came off pretty easy after I quit.  Hope it works for you too!

LEO I think it is great that you are holding at 180!  Don't get impatient.  Why doesn't it make sence for him to ask you to be his date???

Chrisie - Go by what Birdy says, it's about right.  It's also about the combination of nutrients you're eating.  On your unhealthy days - if most of your Calorie intake is from fat, then you've got a problem.  On your healthy days, if there is very little fat, then you've got a problem too.  What I often do is strive for 200 g or less Carbohydrates, around 60 - 70 g of protein, and right around 45 g of fat everyday.  Right now I'm not eating quite as well as that, but so I have to listen to my own voice.  Whether this combination is filled with cupcakes and fried chicken rather than apples and skinless chicken breast is up to you.

Lilsmiter - WOW... 5 pounds overnight has to be primarily water retention from your upcoming TOTM... you made me think about when mine is... in five more days if my body doesn't steer me wrong.  As for those pants, that actually sounds great!  I'm wearing pants from when I was about 160 right now, and I'm having problems with muscular legs, but most of it is in my calf... Pulling on skinny jeans almost always seems to get caught on my calves partway up!

I'm down to 179.2, which means week 10 of my weight loss procured exactly 0 loss and 0 gain.  The plateau I am on now makes me sad for one primary reason!  I hoped NEVER to cross the green trend line!

However, since coming back to Calorie Count in January, I have lost 19.7 pounds.

I'm 175.8 this morning, with 34.5% bf and 47% h20 still. Didn't change one iota from yesterday, even though I kicked butt last night on the elliptical, the hill elliptical, and weights. I burned over 600 calories (total burn 2400 or so), and only ate 1660. I should have lost, so I'm assuming it's water retention.

lilsmiter~ TTOM is the most evil thing EVER. Have fun today, and I hope cramps don't catch you! :(

Chrisie~ Just count your calories, eat a healthy amount of protein (20-30%), good fats (25-30%) and carbs (40-55%) and you'll be great. 2,500 mg or less of sodium, and you should be okay on water retention.

Leo~ The green trend line is your friend. It'll go up and down, and the high feeling you get when it goes down is AWESOME :D

Well, until my plateau, the green trend line has ALWAYS been above my blue line, even with the peaks and troughs.  And I thought that if the green line stayed above my blue line, it meant I was doing a good job.
