Hurray for you Carmel!

 I'm 178.8 this morning, and still chugging away. 664 according to my heart monitor, at the gym yesterday :D

Do any of you eat protein shakes? I've begin eating one every morning, and sometimes at night. They're around 200 calories (then I eat my oatmeal later on), and chock full of enough protein to help keep me super happy full until lunch.

I HATED the EAS vanilla powder. UGH gross. The designer whey stuff in strawberry was yummy though, but it's almost gone. Anyone have any suggestions on what to try next? 

Hi everyone! How's everyone doing this week? :D My rapid weight loss for week one is now slowing (gotta love water weight!) so hopefully by this Friday I'll hit my 1.5 lb goal.

I had a HUGE headache yesterday.. I'm thinking my body is having sugar withdrawls. Anyone else experiencing this?

ok I think I am gonna give in and have some chocs...just noticed that my stupid mice and bitten through the band that holds their water bottle up...will fix that and see if i fancy choclates after

Zulu it will be the first time the scale has read 12 st + and I've been happy about it LOL. mind you thats only because I've avoided scales for so long. Glad my measurments have decreased too as I cant see any change yet.

Nasuoni I havn't tried protein shakes, but I like the slimfast cans. 180-190 calories and I can get my chocolate fix in while not destroying my diet. : ) Congrats on getting into the 170's!!!

Have to brag, I've gone to the gym 4 days a week since I started, and on off days, either done yoga or a long walk. The support I've been getting from all you guys really makes a difference. Thanks.

I haven't done crap for exercise.  I'm just so worn out when I get home I sit on my butt!  I try to at least dance around when I'm getting ready in the morning.  I spose that counts for something. I am so afraid I blew it by eating almost double my calories on Sat.  I keep hoping that the couple pounds I gained back are water weight!  I can't wait to get back into the 70's!

I can't wait for the 70's either!  I'm so close - only 2.5 lbs away... yet it seems like I'll never make it.

I haven't done much with the forums, but I'm in and out of the 180's and 190's, right on the border.  I'm really trying to do everything right...

I'm kind of stuck at a 188 minimum but I really do try.
I kind of didn't do a background, so sorry for a second post.

I'm 19 years old, but I'll be 20 next week.  Most of my weight came from the Freshman 15 in college, but instead of 15, I gained near 40 pounds in my first six months!  It was really discouraging to have the manager of your job ask you if you were pregnant!  I didn't do anything then, but instead gained five "pity pounds" early in 2007.

Now that it's 2008, I've given myself one major goal.  I want to drop from 200 to 135.  I am 5'3", so these 65 extra pounds are not only a burden, but a strain on my body.

I started on January 8th at 198 LB with a goal to get to 185 by the end of the month.
It is January 23rd, and I am at 188 Lb.

Three pounds to go for the month!

Thanks for the words of encourgement zulupomm.  I don't get much in the way of support at home. 

It was a rough week of eating.  We had 2 bday parties at work this week, which means ordering out for lunch and eating cake.  Plus there was a lot of leftovers at home which had to be eaten.  anyways today is a new day to get back on track.  Weight this morning was 183.0 up 0.6 pound from last week.
178.0 this morning and a huge party with pizza, sodas and junk tonight. I'm excited because I know I'll be able to handle myself so much better than I used to be able to!
Crap!  180.5!  I wanna be in the 70's!!!!!!!

Hi lady your almost there dont worry about it too much, you'll probably be there next week. Was 182 on monday and not weighed since then so hopefully will be almost in the 70's too by this monday. Its my sons birthday next saturday and i'm hoping to have had a noticeable loss by then, but probably no one will either notice or comment on it LOL.

Well done Nasuoni think it makes all the difference when you feel comfortasble round others eating and not feel forced to eat more than you need to. I'm just getting to that point now and I feel so much happier in myself.

Hello all, it was my birthday party today (birthday's tomorrow).  3 hours until I'm no longer 19.  The big two-oh!!!

<3  My mom's scale is really off, so I'm not going to trust that I'm up to 194.  I can't have gained 6 pounds in a weekend?!?  I'll hold tight to my 188 until I get back to my place, and I'll check it.
haha omg. I was down to 174 yesterday, but I'm back up to 178 this morning. I'm going to guess the 174 was a freak fluctuation XD Damn.

My mom's scale is off, I was up to 190, from 188.  That makes more sense.
hellllooooo alll! Havent been on here for about a week properly as I have been guilt ridden!!!  I have been over eating pasta and cheese, subways (went foot long....why? I ended up feeling all horrible and bloated anyway!), egg fried rice and chips from the chippy...chocolates, milkshakes....

ok so I am back on today and raring to go!!!  Got a sald planned as my tea for work as I am in work from 2pm til 930pm so that should sort the night time munchies out!!!  I'll just have to be strict when I come home and not give in, or at leats have some cals left to have a "small" snack!!!

anyway through all that gained 2lbs (yesterday) although scales saying 4lbs up today (I'll take yesterdays as that is my official weigh in day!!!)
