I went from 174 to 176.4 :( Went to a friends 21st birthday party at her parents tavern on Tuesday...I drank WAY too much alcohol. Like 7 or more beers ( I normally NEVER drink that much!) . And now I'm sick with a horrible head cold. Remind me not to do that again! lol! Perfect motivation to keep me away from booze. I can't even look at a beer right now without feeling ill. Ugh.

I guessed that I wasn't eating enough, but that's not really the case.  I'm not eating enough until the afternoon.  I don't like to eat when I get up, tho I force myself to on occasion.  And I'm not usually hungry again till 4 or so, during which time I eat.  Then I get hungry again late at night.

Yesterday was a fluke.  Sometimes I'm hungry all the time, and sometimes I'm never hungry.  Yesterday I was hungry all the time, and today I'm not hungry.  I had a few snacks today, totalling about 300 calories, and a lunch, that was about 600.  I might eat again later, but for now I'm just fine.

I am at 184 now and want to go down to 155 by June 30th...I believe I can do it because I am small framed.  My problem is that I overeat and eat the wrong stuff.  AND I LOVE DESSERT!!!

So now I am calorie counting like crazy and stopped drinking useless calories.  I work out at least 3 times a week doing moderate exercise.  I think the key really is portion control and understanding when you are full and when to stop.  I really want to be cute again...and wear a white bathing suit this summer!!!

I am usually famished by the time that I arrive back at home after work. The hunger starts around 4 or so and I get home at 5:45. I do tend to snack after I eat dinner, however I do have fairly good control when I am shopping. If it’s in the pantry though then all bets are off. I can eat a large bag of potato chips in one sitting if they are in front of me. On a bad couple of days a few weeks there was Domino’s pizza on the table when I got home and I ate a medium pizza for dinner and 7 out of 8 slices in the other medium for breakfast the following morning. I used to bring a peanut butter and jelly sandwich to work and I should stop being lazy get back into the habit. I’m going to have a cup of cream of broccoli soup from Tim Horton for lunch today.

Fortunately I have a 2 year old to chase around after I eat dinner so I can’t relax on the couch until he goes to bed at 8.

My weight at the gym this morning was 179.8 lbs. 3.2 pounds less than last Friday. 13.4 pounds down overall.

I had SUCH a bad day yesterday...

 I managed to eat

5 cups of coffee

cheese fries

a giant mud pie from CB&Pots

a mudslide drink.

 I was in a car accident and was supper stressed all day, I new I had to eat but the cheese fries and mud pie were all that apealed.  I am one of those can't eat under stress people... Not as good as it sounds because you get days like THAT!

I am back down to 177.8 this morning after TOTM cravings jumped me up to 179.0 yesterday. Evil.

I ate my protein smoothie this morning, then oatmeal when I got to work and had my break, and now I'm snacking on a perfectly ripened golden delicious apple until I have lunch and can go snag cottage cheese and a lean cuisine!

MMMM food.

cheese fries... cheese fries... mmm  Those count as comfort foods for a car accident!  I wish I had cheese fries...

I am sad to report I'm up quite a few pounds from my TOTM, the evilest idea ever... I did everything right, I should not have bloated quite so much.  Low salt, high iron, high water...

Well hell....I am at 180.5, at least I am down from the gain I had earlier in the week!  Next week 70's here I come!! 

lilsmiter-hope you are ok from your accident. All things considered...maybe all the stress burned off the calories!!

zulu- glad you are back on track. I think making sure I was drinking my water helped me alot too.

nasuoni- you seem to be like me weighing yourself all the time.  I just can't help it.  I try like hell to even just do it once a day but it is soooo hard!

sammi- congrats on the .5lb it is so great to even lose a little when you expected to gain!

To everyone who is on That TOM, I wouldn't even worry about the evil scale (easier said than done I know) Just keep drinkin that water to flush out all that retained water!!

 

TOTMs are weird like that... drink water to lose water!  Unheard of!

I'm trying to figure out what I want for lunch.  Maybe Subway.  It's filling and tasty.

I've been drinking enough water this week, and I finally looked at my scale... I'm at 189.9.   Hanging on by a thread!  I'm happy to see an 8 in the 10's place rather than a 9, though!

I'm finally seeing results on the scale!!! I'm down to 185!!! Six pounds. I had been feeling really hopeless - 2 weeks with no loss - then three pounds almost overnight! I suppose having finished TTOM may have had something to do with that.

So, everyone who's got their TTOM take heart - the scale will be nicer in a few days.Smile

I'm waiting for my TOTM to end... To battle the bloated bulge, I opted to buy a girdle... doesn't look like it does much, but maybe I'll look much better in 10 more pounds...
Hi al lhope your enjoying your sunday...nothing on TV so I ma just messing on the net.  Might go make my stepdaughter some after sunday lunch pudding in a bit, maybe some bananas and iccecream, the bananas need using up and the icecream needs using cos its just bad temptation for me.

On a late shift tomorrow and then 2 days off! Although that means ill do a 9 day stretch until my days off after that...oh well thats life

Did a huge walk yesterday and then an ab burner from pilates today so I am feeling motivated that I am getting my exercise levels up.

Hoping that the scale stays on 181lbs tomorrow although I did have quite a bit of salt on my sunday roast, ill hav eto drink a coupl eof pints of water to make sure that doesnt stick

You reminded me I still had a banana!  Thanks!  I'm going to put it in my cereal. :-)

I miss my work-out buddy, she went to her parents' house this weekend and I haven't worked out a bit.  But... *shrugs* who says you need someone to work out with?  Not like I really want to, today... Maybe later, after I'm clean... and eat...

Well I got a bit depressed this weekend, I think just all that stress from the accident kind of overloaded my little pills! I am feeling much better but my scale went up a touch, 190! Ack Could be worse... I DID have pizza.

Well I am feeling better and it is time to get back on track.
187... I'm glad to see my scale going down!  That means I lost weight while being on my TOTM.  Ooo...

My motivation's back up, to see my scale had changed.  I'm going to the gym tonight, but it's going to be a light workout.  I'm going to reward my body for expending another pound.

As for you, Lilsmiter, don't worry.  You are probably fine.  Don't look at the scale again until Friday.  Take a long walk today.  If it's as warm where you are as it turned up today here, then enjoy the weather!  Don't worry about the scale for a couple of days... just work on making yourself happy right now.
I was going to go to the gym during lunch today, but when I got there there was no gym bag in the car.  I know I grabbed it this morning when I left home.  I'm hoping it (and my ipob that was in the bag) is in the driveway and not in the middle of the road somewhere.

I am happy that I resisted getting fast food for lunch.  The temptation was there, especially since I rarely have this time to get something for lunch during the week.

Leopardrayne - I'm with you, lost another pound since yesterdya and a pound down during TOTM, I was thinking that TOTM doesnt affect me too bad like it does some people, some people say they gain like 7lbs water etc, but if anything I'm ok and just stay the same, or I gain cos the cravings get me, but as long as I take my magnesium and vitB6 regullary I still get the grumps with TOTM but no cravings which is good.

Lilsmiter I agre with leopard, look after yourself first, you are more important than ANY weight loss, make sure you are happy first before jumping on the scales, an accident can really knock you for a while after...also what pills?

Not dropped any pounds this week, after a visit from my eldest, but just put my measurements up and over the last 2 weeks I've lost 1.5" from my thighs and waist, 0.5 from my hips and upper arms and 0 from my bust or calves. So not too upset about no pounds shed this week.

Deely hope you find your bag and its contents. My daughter left her jacket in a cafe yesterday at the station and when I went back to check for it, it was gone.

Lilsmiter hope you feel well again soon and I agree with the rest make sure your ok before you worry too much about losing.

My gym bag was next to my desk at home. Whew!...  After I got everything ready to go I remembered I had some bills to mail.  I must have put it down to pick them up.  I could have sworn I had it when I went out to my car.  I have put things on the car roof and driven away.  About 6 months ago my mug went the 1.5 miles to daycare on my roof.  I don't know how it stayed there since it's a hilly, twisty 1.5 miles.  I thing I lost a bag of diapers that way a few months ago too.  I try to put things on the hood of the car now so I'll see it if I drive off.

I went to the gym last night and got to talk to this cute guy who is in my sociology class.  I've not in the past been very attracted to minorities ('cept Indian guys, for some reason), but this light skinned guy has freckles... :-).  Now I have a secret motivator to lose more weight (if my health wasn't motivation enough).

The girl next door (no connotation intended) said that I looked really good and that I didn't really need to lose weight.  But then again, she is seeing me 11 lb down from when I started.  But a "healthy weight" by a physician is perhaps 40 lb less than what I am, considering I'm 5 ft. 3 1/2.  (I'm 187lb).

Now to get graphic... My gran always said that if I defecate regularly, I will be much healthy.  I haven't gone in two days, so I wonder if I will weigh less when I DO get to go.  I'm having more fiber today, because yesterday's was like 13g, and some oranges.

This month's goal is to 182 (from 188 originally, now 187).  Whether I make it or not, I'll still be happy that I am losing weight.
