Whatever happened to ro50bin??  I messaged her a few times back when Faye was headed her way, but never heard back.... her page says her last login was August 23rd.  Hmmm.  Weird.

I wonder what happened. Hope she's ok. when did Faye hit? I can't remember.

 

Morning  everyone!!!!!!   160.00 this morning!!!!! 

My scale played an evil trick on me last night.  I got home from work (had a great session with the PT and ate really well).  Stripped down to get into some comfy clothes and decided to weigh myself...  I am usually 1-2lbs lighter in the morning so I like to see what to expect the next day.  Well I get on and it says 159.0  I stared at it for a bit and wondered how I had managed to lose 2lbs thru the day... odd. But I RAN to the living room (naked) and dragged my husband over to the scale with me.  I get on ............. and........ it says 160.5.  lmao!  He looked and me and said - oh your almost there.  I was like "No No No - wtf it said 159!"     Anyways - 160 today - new low for me - next step is the 150's. 

Have leaving drinks for one of the girls here today - so going to try to stick to the diet best I can and only have one drink and escape.  Even tho it was a trick it  sure was nice to see the 150's flash on the scale.

~oh yesterday my PT made me run at 6min mile for 15mins on the treadmill.  I was sweating my butt off running that fast for so long. Felt damn good after tho.  I'd love to invest in a treadmill - but not sure how long we are going to live in the UK -- so would hate to buy one here and not be able to bring it back to North America.

Nicci- Great job!  I can't wait to be where you are!

Momof2- I felt like I had to do something different, because everything else was not working for me, AT ALL!

K9- It's ok to be skeptical.  All of us here I am sure, have tried just about everything else out there and have been sorely disappointed.  This just made more sense to me than say....a liquid diet, Alli or something like that.  I am NEVER hungry, as long as I eat every 3 hours.  That is hard at times (due to scheduling issues at work etc.), but important.  I have not actually felt "hunger" for a long time. (slow metabolism?), and was just eating out of boredom, craving, what have you, but not actual hunger. Now I actually wake up hungry, and if I end up going too long.  It's interesting.

I am sooooo thrilled, I can't stand it!, I have been stuck for so long and it is awesome to see the scale move!!!!!

By the way, ONE MORE POUND TO GO!!!!!!!  I weighed in at 170.2 today!!!!  I can't believe it!!!  :)  Heck, I don't even have a pound to go, it's less than a pound!!!  hehehehe

Maybe tomorrow.....Ya know I'll be weighing myself everyday to see if I made it yet! lol

I am 5 ft. 5 in. 180 lbs. as of today. My goal is 135lbs. I've been finding it very hard to stay motivated (on/off diet & exersize). I'm hoping this will help!!

I'm still 170 today! :)  so atleast it stuck! lol I'll be weighing again tomorrow though. hehehe

momof2~ Glad it stuck!

No exercise for me today... I'm exhausted!  I worked all day and ended up doing 17 dogs!  Luckily, about six of them were only nail trims, so not too bad.  I decided that I probably burned a TON of calories today since I was going almost nonstop.  We went out for Mexican tonight- yummy! 

Guess who cheated yesterday?  :P  ooops
Ok not too bad - but still over in the cals... oh well....

Ok....I confess...It's TTOTM and I cheated Yell  I had chinese (salt) along with some of the chinese "sweet donuts" (which by the way I am sure are NOT chinese).  Damn you Aunt Flo!!!!!

I am not going to weigh myself for a few days at least, due to the salt.  I am going to try to hold out until Friday, but you know me and the scale.  I can't resist getting on it and hubby doesn't have it hidden anymore so.....

Since I started my new diet, he conceded that I could weigh weekly.  I told him that I can't be that restrictive without seeing if it is making a difference.

So despite your pleas for us to not fall off the wagon K-9 , looks like that is what most of us did yesterday.  Back on today!!!!!!

I'm so disappointed in you guys *kicks butts*!  Why do you do so well, only to self-sabotage yourselves??  You make a little bit of progress, only to turn around and wipe it out again.  It's a vicious cycle around here...

I'm proud of myself - I completed the Couch to 5k Program this morning!  I can now run 30 min straight, or a 5k (3.1miles)!  I did my 30 minute run and then kept jogging and walking briskly.  I was on the treadmill for quite awhile, but it felt so good!  I ended up going 6.25 miles and burning 570 calories!  Had some lower calorie pancakes & sugar free syrup for breakfast and a turkey sandwich for lunch, along with a Fiber One granola bar and some low calorie chips.  Watching the Packers play right now and then hopefully going to walk the dog and do a bit of yard work.  =)

 

I walked today and burned 810 calories!!!!  Can you believe it????  I walked my butt off and kept walking hills and I kept my heart rate up around 140-158 bpm. I thought I was gonna die once or twice, but I got thru it. It was like a bootcamp for myself! LOL 

There were some people sitting out on their porches watching me and said they were impressed. Wow! :D  I went up and down this one hill 5 times!  It was tough!

I don't know how often I can do that, but I might try in a couple days to change things up once in a while.

Oh!  My daughter asked me tonight when I'm gonna stop losing weight. And I asked her why and she told me I look good now. :D  So I told her about 10 more pounds and I may be done then. She said good! That really makes me feel good!!!  ;)

K9- I've looked for low cal pancake mix and can't find it. Where'd you get yours? I want some pancakes! I have the sugar free syrup already, just waiting for the pancakes! LOL I use to eat pancakes all the time!

 

 

 

Ok so I went the weekend without gaining any weight.  thats not bad!  My poor son wasn't well last  night - burning  up and  tired  and he passed out on the couch at 7pm.  Lots of stinky things going on  right now - I really want this week to be over (sigh) (double sigh).

I'm stuck, but it appears to be because of the... monthly gift >:( . Better water than fat, I guess!

I am building up all this great muscle in my arms, abs, legs. I can't see it in my abs (can definitely feel it though) but it's really noticable and I'm thrilled to see it.

Anyone ever try Jillian Michaels 20 minute workout? I have them on OnDemand. They are very, very hard but it burns so many calories, AND, as an added bonus, uses resistence training, so it builds muscle, too!

I tried on a size 9 pair of pants that are kind of a goal for me to fit in. Last time I tried them on (couple months or so), I struggled to get them over my thights, and was practically panting with effort. They were way to small. Today, they were fine up until the zipper. But I was grinning ear to ear- despite the gain from 165 pounds to 172, it seems I am losing inches, still.

Those pants really made my day, I'll admit.

momof2, wow, over 800 cal on your walk!

Nicci, yay! you broke the 160's! I am still floating on that edge-- i have seen as low as 157, and keep bouncing between there and as high as 163. ugh. 

K9, congrats on completing C25k!! that is great! 

Sharky, congrats on your muscle development! thats great- remember, muscle is more dense than fat, so even if your scale doesnt move that much, you are still losing the fat. And great on the size 9 jeans! even if you couldnt zip them, just getting them over your hips--i bet you will be able to zip them pretty soon!. I have the Jillian Michaels 30 day shred (which I havent used for awhile :(  ).. I dont know if it the same workout as on ONdemand, but I agree, it is very hard. 

LadyElizabeth, congrats on your 182! yay! Wow, your diet sound pretty tough.. I dont think i could do an entire 6 weeks with only chicken, broccoli, and sweet potato! I think I would only last 1 week, maybe.. Good luck though! 

I havent been doing the best either i must confess.. I havent been binging terribly, but have been having some no-no sweets more than i should. PMS was much worse than usual for me, been feeling so drained, and craving the sweets so bad.. I finally got ttom last night, and today isnt looking like such a good day for me either (cramps and whatnot) ugh. I weighed 160.8 this morning, which I was surprised it wasnt a bit higher with my eating and low activity the past few days.
