lLadyEliz - I hear you on the back fat rolls! That's my first target too. HAve started to back weigths at the gym to try and blitz them - fingers crossed.
Two weeks til I have to get into 'that' dress - eck!!
What dress is that? How are you doing/when do you weigh in? I weighed in today and am 168.5. No loss, but no gain either, so I will take it! Just have to try to not GAIN this weekend.
Hey everyone!! When i joined this group I was trying to make my way to the 180's.. I believe I was about 196 when I joined I am excited to say as of yesterday I am officially in the 180's ( i have only been weighing in every 2 weeks or so... makes the loss seem bigger
) I am now 187 lbs!!!! I have lost 47lbs so far and I am exactly halfway to my goal. How exciting!! Of course if I am happy with my body before I reach 140 lbs. then so be it!
Congratulations on your loss! That is great! It is so exciting to see the scale move. Whatever you are doing, keep it up, it is working!!
Hi!!! i was 180 lbs last monday but i weigh yesterday i am 178lbs... hope i can still join... please... i weigh every monday and thursday......
i am happy for u need2losebabyweight.. 47lbs!!! that's amazing... we both have that the same goal 140 or less but i hope i could reach my ideal weight of 120-ish... I KNOW I CAN!!!! let's be positive!!!!
Welcome Beng! Of course you can still join. Most of us aren't in the 80's anymore, but started there. We all weigh on different days. Personally I do Fridays and am now at 167.5. In August I was up to 190! I have been yo-yoing for awhile but am definately on the right path. Congratulations on your progress!

Have been working out lots this week, plus two swims. Its going v slow, but am not at 184 - at last going the right way. :-)
Lost an inch off my boobs and off my bum. Yee ha!! Have splashed out on new makeup as a treat.

I'm 187, too! Hoping to get to 160 by summer.
Suiterkin, I'm up to 178 now (gained some unexplained weight) and I too want to be 160 by summer. I should've been there by now! UGH!
Maybe we can do this together since we have the same goal. What ya think?
Thanks ladyelizabeth!!!! i weigh this morning... and i lost 2 more pounds!!! im now 176!!! 4 lbs in a week!! yey!!!! hope to lose all those unwanted lbs before my second anniversary on november... i hope to lose 6lbs by this week... i know 2 lbs a week is the healthy way... but... i want to set the bars higher... in a way i will be more motivated to exercise and to do my situps everyday... AND TO EAT HEALHTY!!!! ![]()
Hi all - bad day today. Went to gym first thing and have pulled a muscle or something in my back. It hurt so much I had to give up on the gym session. Got to work and it was worse so have had to come home. :-( so been lying down all afternoon with no hope of a quick return to the gym.
So unfair - just as I was getting back into going to the gym! Any tips for back pain?
Use heat for 20 minutes, then cold for 20. Then wait 20 minutes and repeat. It helps. Hope you feel better! And try Naproxen. Before my back got worse, it helped me.
You'll b back in the gym soon. Give it a week and you'll be fine, hopefully. If it's not better in a week, go see your dr.
Beng, I hear ya on the motivation front...believe me. Just don't let yourself get down when you don't jump over that bar you set so high. I have been in quite a few "challenges" now on CC (which are VERY motivating by the way) and to tell you the truth, I have done the best setting my goal low. The reason why is because I felt a sense of accomplishment. Once that goal is met, I could set another, and another etc. instead of failing at my goal and getting discouraged! Don't set yourself up for failure! Revel in the accomplishments you do make and you will go far!

Hi Lady Eliz - back is so much better thank goodness! It's a good job as I'm going to a concert tonight so will be standing all evening - going to see The Killers who I've wanted to see for ages. I'm sure they will be worth the pain.
I haven't got backto the gym yet tho. It's my firends wedding on Saturday and don't want to risk making the pain worse again. Will get back to the gym next week tho.
