Welcome Jasmine!  Great job getting out of the 90's!  Yay newlook!  I am sick and am soooo off my diet!  I hate it, but that is just the way it is.  I am hoping to feel better by Friday.  There is alot of outside yardwork etc that I want to do on my day off! Plus, maybe that will burn some of my non diet eating off of me!

Ok guys - time to reel me back in. 

Apparently eating whatever I want when my husband is out of town isn't a good thing :(

I just saw 170 on the scale today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Yard work can burn those cal off go for it!

Im new the CC and would like *quite unhappily in most ways* to join the 180 club.

When I started on here I was 181 and since being on here have gone down to 178 - so at least im going in the right direction!

If anyone can give me any tips for someone who works 10 hours a day to loose weight im all ears!!!

Ok - so a few days of pain and I'm back down to 165.5 - and by pain I mean eating a 1200cal diet.

 

Mabel - I work a long day and actually find it easier to lose weight when I'm at my desk.  As soon as you let me out into 'the world' I start to overeat.  lol.

So - I have been having my 5 small meals.  Smaller portions and picking salads instead of sandwiches for lunch.  I WILL have that extra 5.5lbs gone by June.  I'm not turning 32 a pound over 160!

Sorry for the lengthy absence - have been super busy with college work (now finished hurrah) so both diet and excercise have gone out of the window :-(

However, started afresh yesertday at the gym and again this morning - have booked a carribbean holiday for Sept and am determined to lose weight for it a and not to feel like the fat girl on the beach, like I usually do.

Fingers crossed.

Hey y'alll. I am about 189 and 5'11". I am looking to loose about 35 lbs.  Large Frame. Daily Calories 1500/a day.    I have had some set backs as of late. I was doing really well and then took forty billion steps back. After being let go from a job and slumping into depression and having a lot of time on my hands as of late...well you get the picture...right?? But I am feeling alot better and now I am wanting to get rid of this pesky lbs off my butt/hips/thighs/stomach...well everywhere:) But I am determined to get back on track. Looking for some inspiration and motivation. Whose with me!!!??

 

 

I'm with you fifth!  I really need to get back on track starting Monday!  I am 5'3.5" and 169.5 at this point.  I started where you are in August last year.  I  am kinda stuck where I am, but I plan to start exercising and really getting back on track!

Anyways, thanks for responding, I am hoping to inspire and  to find inspiration and motivation through you guys.  What kind of cardio are planing on doing??  I was gonna mtn bike or try and run ( i repeat run) ya I may be tall and have long legs, but my lung capacity is null...i think I would need an oxygen tank flunky  to accompany me on jaunts in the woods:)

So are you gonna go see the new Sam Rami film this weekend? 

I'm gonna try to do some gardening.  I am trying to not leave the house, we live near a speedway and it is Nascar weekend!  Ackkkk!  It's like a snow storm, you get all of your supplies ahead of time and hunker down until it is over LOL!  I am going to start out trying to walk consistantly and go from there.  I have very low motivation so I will have to build up slowly.  I also need to go back to my daily situps, leg work and arm work.  That was helping alot for awhile.  Maybe I will get back on the Total Gym.  I just need to do SOMETHING, I have come so far and I really don't want to back slide.  I don't have a specific goal as far as weight number, I just want my "gills" on my back to go away at this point!  That will probably happen somewhere around the 50's.  At that point I will be getting a "tramp stamp"!!!!

BTW, the hubby is the one who gave me LadyElizabeth, I usually go by Betsy

I need to be in this club. Especially right now. I joined CC a couple of weeks ago and went from 186.5 to my current weight of 180.2, but now I'm STUCK here! No matter how hard I work out or how well I eat the scale refuses to go to the 170s. Bah. Sometimes it feels like I will be in the 180s forever.

Could use some support, for sure.

hope you're doing ok. Had the shock of my life last week at my weight in - am at top 180s :-( but got back to the gym am trying to do four sessions a week, and am planning to try to keep up drinking lots of water this week.

Hey Everyone...

Well I got a bit of activity Sunday. I went out for a jog for like 1 hr.  It was a struggle at first but 20 minutes into it I got into a groove. I thought I was gonna die...literally:)  I think I will try and do this type of activity 3 times a week. Hopefully,  I can make it a habit.

 

I couldnt really do anything today...cause it was downpouring rain and quite windy...

Im 25, 5'10 and 185lbs. About 2 months ago I was down to 170 but my bf and I just moved back to his hometown and I recently gained 15lbs back. I really want to try and get back into the excersise thing. I used to weigh 147 and would be really happy to get back to that. I just need to stop eating whenever I want out of boredom!!

Hopefully with your guys support I can get back to it!!

Well so far so good my breakfast is coming along nicely and my boyfriend will be gone all day which is a plus. Now I just have to hope for some nice weather or Ill be stuck inside, but I can always play my wii fit so I dont really have a good excuse for not exercising. Hope everyone elses day is going good!!

Hi Victoria. Sounds like you're doing well. Like you, I find it hard not to eat when I'm bored.

Was back at the gym this morning - only a short session but better than nothing. Altho without the air-con on and the water fountain not working it wasn't much fun!

 

Well last night I ate a whole bag of maynards chewy fruit candys not the little bag the big one. So today I am starting fresh I ate a good breakfast and I did about 30 minutes of wii fit exercise. Now off to the park with my kids. Today I will not screw up!!

I went out yesterday for a run/walk for 30 minutes.  It wasn't too bad. My calves are burning and kinda hurt. it was a bumpy, hilly terrain.  I think I am going to talk it easy today. 

 

victoriamartel..don't worry about the maynards...what is a "maynard" anyway?? we all break down one time or another;) Just start fresh and encourage yourself. Take it one day at a time...

mmm ..... love maynard wine gums (like slightly sour jujubes). would never buy a big bag because I'd eat them too!

Finally into the 160's! Woo Hoo! I've been using the wii active lately and it's been a fun way to work out.

Hi all, got my weigh in tomorrow - fingers crossed. Been to the gym seven times in the last ten days - surely its got to make a difference?!
