:(

175 on the scale today!!!!!!!!!  WTF HAPPENED?

Oh I know what happened, I decided to eat whatever I wanted for a month.  GGRR.  I am so mad at myself.

Even bigger problem - is I don't seem to care, keep eating and don't run on the treadmill.  This blows.

I have to get my butt into gear, have a big holiday with just me and hubby coming up in September - and I want to be back down under 160.  How did I get back up to 175?

I need a serious **** kicking.

Babe dont be too hard on yourself. This is a tough ride...losing weight that is.

This may sound stupid, but, losing weight is like being a member of AA. Its a 12 step program. Its difficult, you make amends to yourself, blah blah..you know what i mean:)   Its a one day at a time>For me its one hour at a time>) Stay strong=mind and body.

Here's a bit of advice:

1. Don't quite. Anything worth having is worth working at and pursuing.

2. Watch your calories. Calorie count. Talk to your doctor about this.

3. Be reasonable with yourself with your weight loss goals. Weight loss can take time and effort...

4. Try and incorporate ways to be active i.e., walk, toss the Frisbee around, walk etc

5. Dont eat past 8pm

6. Drink water @ least 8 8ounces/serving

7. Allow yourself a treat occasionally.

8. Maintain a food diary. Record what you eat at every meal.

Bob speed....and keep in touch!!

Ok people.  Lets get serious.  I have to get back on track.

Breakfast:  porridge oats & coffee.

Will have a salad for lunch.

I'm with ya canuck!  I have been waaaay off track.  I have't (purposely) gotten on the scale in about a month.  To be honest, I am afraid to. I need to come back on here religiously like I did before.  It really did help when I was consistant with it!

I think thats my problem.  I wasn't getting on the scales.... so wasn't seeing the numbers go up and just let myself fall.

Well that obviously doesn't work for me.   So now I'm going to get on every day.  And that number WILL  go down.

I'm at 1000 cals for the day - light supper and a run on the treadmill tonight.

Ok...I decided on a weekly weigh in here for all to see to keep me honest and on track!  It worked well for me when I was in the challenges before, but the most recent challenge groups I was in really didn't motivate me like the old ones I was in.  I've known a few of you for awhile now, so I am hoping you can motivate me, and if you wish to join me in my endeavor, I can motivate you too!!!

I am off to a company picnic today, how is everyone else doing??

for the love of god.  177 today.  this is not working out.

gggggggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

I know how you feel. Don't give up! I am here for you! We can do this!!!!!

Thanks (sigh)

I'm back on track today.  Not sure why today is different - but I'm not hungry.  Plugged in my food and I'm at 703 for the whole day!  I'm usually at 703 after breakfast. lol.

I am currently 184...trying to get down to 144 without losing all of my curves LOL Fortunately I was curvy when I was 144 in the past so NO EXCUSES...gonna go for my daily stair climb and walk at 11:30...LET"S GET READY TO RUMBLE!!!Cool

Ok...back on track as of yesterday, and weighing every day. I know I can get obsessive about the scale, but I think my weight was better when I was weighing every day than the month I didn't .  I've been off track for a month and it's time to get back into the groove of things!  I did some small workout things yesterday (arms, situps) and am going to try to do this daily. I find that if I don't do it every day, I start slackin.  So I will do it EVERY day.  Also, to keep me honest, I am going to start weighing in here  every Friday.  Anyone who would like to join me with that is welcome to!  I find that when I am kept accountable by other people here I do better because I don't want to be embarrased! Hey...whatever works right?  I will be back Friday for my weigh in...anyone with me?

I'm with you!!!!  I'm on week 2 of eating within my calorie range and even went for a 30min run last night on the treadmill.  FEELS GREAT to be back.

Friday weighins are on.

Hello ladies,

Sorry for the lengthy absence. Have been away and also sulking over my non weight loss. However, am going to get weighed tonight to fingers crossed and I will report back tomorrow.

2lbs is a great start!  I have my weigh in tomorrow. I'm kinda scared because I've started running again (and when I run I don't lose weight I tone up).  Sooooo fingers crossed.  Can't WAIT to be back in the 60's again.
