Wow canuck - three weeks where are you off to?

Had a weigh in with my trainer - 1.5lbs down since last week :-) not much but at least its the right way. Had a really hard session this morning - hoping its going to make some difference. Am back again tomoro!

Hi all.

Was back in this morning for another hard session with the trainer, when I woke up my thighs and stomach muscles were already hurting! Think I will treat myself to a lie in tomorrow! Trying really hard to be god - have resisted all the cake and chocolates at work this week (at first!) so feeling quite pleased.

How has everyones week gone?

Hey guys! Sorry I've been gone. I have had wicked bronchitis for 2 weeks and nooooo energy!!! My weight has gone back up a little 177.5 :(  but at least it's under 180. I'm hopin to start doin some exercise when my cough is gone and I have more energy.  Looks like you guys are doin pretty good! Keep it up!

Well I'm up 2lbs in 10 days.  Not bad for all the eating and drinking I did while my friend was here.  I have 19 days until I go to Sardinia witih the husband and would love to be 159.  I was 164.5 today.  5lbs in 3 weeks shouldn't be too hard......... right ;)

Four week til hols - am determined to continue the hard work. Another seesion with the trainer this morning - including fairly humiliating 'bunny hops' - embarrassing but she assures me it's worth it.

Canuck - bet you can wait for your hols!

I am  having the WORST day at work - and I am so tempted to walk over to Burger King and order 5 whoppers.  GGRRR

It won't taste as good as you imagine - always a dissapointment. You'll be more proud of yourself for resisting. I nearly got tempted by an amazing looking carrot cake yesterday - and was really proud with myself for saying 'no'!

Went for a swim this morning and beat my last time - 70 lengths in 30 minutes! Hurrah! (Last time 60 lengths in 30 mins).

Have my weigh-in tonight and really hoping it'll be good. Trying to be extra good so couscous for lunch.

newlook you are on a rampage with your workouts!  I am SO impressed!  I really need to get back on the treadmill... it started my day off right and got me motivated.

 

Hurray - had my weigh in at the club - 4lbs lost  in two weeks - that is my best ever!

That must work as an incentive to keep me away from cake and beer!

Great job newlook!!! I am gonna join the Y next month. The guy at the front desk told me he thought they were gonna have a no sign up fee promotion! That'll save me $90! I am feeling mostly better. Still coughing though. It is freakin rediculous! PMSing bad and feel like a blob! Holding steady at around 177/178. I am hoping that once my period comes it will start to come off. I started yesterday trying to do at least situps/ pushups/ and squats daily. That should help some. Keep up the good work ladies! You motivate me!!!!!

Am back for anther gym session, my trainer has assured me it'll be hard - oh joy! Can't stop know though. Four week til holiday and am determined to lose more if I can.
Am enjoying a 'rest' day today though :-)

Hi guys! Been kind of lurking around here, Sounds like you all are working hard! great job.. LadyE, so sorry to hear about your bronchitis-sounds miserable. glad you are feeling better now.. I have a membership at the Y here, and I really like it, but I'm afraid we may have to drop it because we really need to cut our budget.. with me back in school and all, things have gotten pretty tight.  The college has a gym I can use anyway.

As of this morning, I am 145! I cant believe it, I went shopping a couple days ago and I fit in a size 8 jeans! I think it has been at least 12 years or more since I could wear a size 8.. I just about cried when I put them on. Just gives me the motivation i need to keep going.

I'll try to keep checking in now and then, but I will be hard pressed for time- classes start monday for me, and I still need to get school shopping done for the kids- they still have a couple more weeks.

I was 164 this morning, blame it on a naughty dinner last night.  I am proud to say that I bot new running shoes last night and did a 3 mile run before work today.  aaahhh forgot how much I liked it.

I have 2 weeks until my trip to Sardinia.  I have my sons 4th Bday party on Sunday - so after that I am SERIOUSLY going to buckle down and get some hard runs and good eating in.

Wow Wendy! I would Looooove to see size  again! Right now I am 176.5. I went back on my diet strictly and it is workin, but I need a new scale, I don't think mine is right :(    I have a friend from work who moved in with us. She is originally from England.  I'm gonna hook her up on here, I was tellin her all a bout it. I hope everyone is doin well, we are plannin on joinin the Y next wk.

Hurt my back in the gym just over a week ago and hadn't been able to do a thing until this morning. was so annoyed becuase the weight was finally starting to move and then havent been able to do anything to shift some more

Started back the the pool with the gentle swim this morning - feels very pathetic compared to the gym!

Hi everyone..

I would like to join..I have been thinking about and kinda trying to loose weight all year. I wanted to be at a certain weight by spring..didnt happen. Then tried to be there by end of summer..didnt happen. I have tried monthy goals, weekly goals but nothing works as I give into temptation every time. I do good half the day and then loose it by 3pm and start eating junk. I have read a lot of the posts here and you all sound like a great support group that I can check in with yu daily..or maybe a couple times a day. I NEED TO DO SOMETHING!! I was at 171 last November and then got to 185 by early January..now have lurked around 180 for the last few months..have not weighted myself for WEEKS!! Will weight in tomorrow and get started!!

Now I am excited about this journey ..and it might just be from the motivition I got from reading the last few pages of this forum :)
