I thought I would start a 140s club. Although I have 2 lbs before I can officially join the club, I'm sure I can get there :) I started out weighing 210lbs and have never weighed this low in my adult life. The positivity, wonderful people and motivating stories on CC have been a true blessing. My goal is to get to 140lb and maintain that weight.
So, if you currently weigh in the 140s, are hoping to get there or want to make a short stop before reaching your goal weight, join me!
I'm sure we can all motivate and support each other so join!

I'm a couple pounds from the 140s, but I think starting a new group is a great idea. My goal is 145 so I have 7-8 more lbs. to go! My weight hasn't budged since December and need all the motivation/support I can get.

Feb 1st was pretty successful, I ate 1700 calories and worked out for 60 minutes. I weighed myself and the scale said 151lb. I got up to 152 for a couple of days because of a binge.
Now, I'm back down to my pre-binge weight and I'm ready to see the 140s. I can't wait....
So far, I've eaten a smoothie and a little bit of oatmeal. I do plan on lifting some weights and working out later today.

It was my husbands birthday yesterday and we went to dinner and I had more alcohol than I should've not to mention the food... and cake...
But atleast I ran in the AM. I WILL DO THE SAME TODAY! (That's my inner voice yelling at me.)
Even though I'm so close, the 140's seem so unattainable. My weigh in yesterday was 152. Humph. I weigh in again on Friday. Let's see if I can be 151.

AHHHH I've been waiting to be in the 140s for sooooo long!! It feels soooooo good!! I had been at 150/152 for like a month, but I finally BUSTED through my plateau and now I've lost like 3 pounds in less than a week!! WHOOO!!
Hopefully though, I'll only be in the group for a few weeks, then I'll make my final destination the 130s club, and it will be my home sweet home :-)
Hey- I am 151/152- can I be a "junior" member until I reach the 140's? I think it would a motivator to belong to a group :)
I have started a running routine this week, so hopefully it helps... next week I will add back weights...
How do you all handle the weekends? That is when I have a hard time b/c friends want to go out not only to the bars, but dinner.... I know to choose healthier meals and not drink, but when you start to change your habits, people notice. Telling them I am on a "diet" is not an option because then I become that girl.....
Wow this is great. I am at 151/152 as well. I have been in the 150's for like 2 months. I am so close. And once i get to 148 I wont be obese anymore yay.
I hope I can be a member by the end of the week.
How is everyone? I weighed in at 150 today- my goal is that by next tuesday I lose .5 (I know weight fluctuates, but I haven't gotten a 149. anything reading yet)... I get discouraged when I don't see a 5 lbs weight loss (my mini goals) so I figured why not really break it down?
Well, the weekend is almost here and I can't wait... I'm burned out from work :(
This is so disappointing because when I originally started this thread I was near the 140s by 2lbs. Haaaa

Can I join your group? I started out at about 150. I'm about 146 right now, but my scale sucks so who knows. I just ordered a new scale online, so we'll see what that one says.
