180's Club
Would anyone like to join a 180's club? I've been stuck in the 80's for quite some time now and would enjoy some company... if anyone's interested.
I'm doing better with the water... I really need to find a tennis buddy. Any ideas how to go about doing this without joining a tennis club?
How's everyone doing today?
I'm really proud of myself for going out to fancy schmancy restaurant yesterday and not going over cal.

Ok, I'm joining! my scale says less, but the doc weighed me in at 180, and I've been stuck forever!
Hey guys.. just checkin in! I'm down to 185 today! Yay... Hopefully soon I'll be in the 170's club with all of you! Exercise is treating me right!!
Congrats Shaye, I dropped my TTOTM water weight today (I think) scale is now showing 187.2
That's awesome supersized! Good for you. I'm not sure about the tennis thing, that does sound fun though. I'll be your partner! Hehe... where do you live agian? Might be a long drive for us... ;-)
Yeah, that's the problem... driving a few hours (days) is not conducive to a good game... my partner and I play together, but we're on opposite shifts, so we don't see each other a whole lot.... and there's dozens of free courts around where I am.... which I could stalk people at but that's just creepy.... also I'm a beginner and need to find another begginer who wants to pratice.... google is being no help what so ever, so I though I'd just randomly throw it out there and see if anyone came up with any bright ideas.
I want to join! I started at 189 less than a month ago and have lost about 3 pounds. It's going sooooo slooooowwly. My calorie deficit has run 500-1000 daily, but I'm not seeing that much change in my body.
There's something symbolic about a 180 club, because when you do a 180 degree turn you go in the complete opposite direction. That's what many of us are trying to do with our eating and exercise habits. Doing a 180 requires support. I could have used some at 1 a.m. last night when that dark chocolate bar called to me from my purse.

Yea... and I just ate a piece of pizza..... BUT I'm counting it in my calorie limit and plan to exercise tonight!! Soo... we'll see what happens!!
I like the 180 analogoy.... that's great!
Welcome.
Welcome.
I just wanted to wish everyone luck over the weekend, its the hardest part of the week for me. I'll be away, hopefully when I get back I will have gone down a little. I'll keep you posted.
Now I can also join since I am 188.5 as of today!!! I also celebrated with a small piece of pecan pie and now feel really guilty. Hopefully tomorrow will be a good day.
Alright...I started University at 180...I didn't eat throughout Frosh week because the cafeteria food was disgusting, so I dropped, and then I decided that that wasn't healthy and I should try the caf again. So...because the food was so high in starch and carbohydrates and calories and fat and all that (cheaply made..thanks Sodexho) I definitely gained 15lbs. I would also say that the fact that the only exercise I got was through dance (once a week, I know...bad news) and walking to class, contributed to my gaining the weight. Hopefully i'll be back in the 180 club soon and progressing to the 170! See you in...a week maybe?
Good Morning! I lost 2" last month! I've been measuring my girth every month and that was a nice surprise. I'm still stuck and 191.6, but I guess I put on a little muscle. I'm happy to find that my weight may be stuck but I'm losing anyway.
I'm doing a few higher calorie days this weekend in hopes of breaking the plateau next week.
How's everyone doing this week?

Hi everyone! I lost another .4 lbs. Not much... but still a loss, right?! I hope I can be strong this weekend. I'm trying to plan out the eating agenda so it might be a little easier for me. We'll see..... I HATE weekends for this reason!!
I'm still stuck at the same spot....always
getting bummed!
getting bummed!
Don't get bummed... it'll come off!! I hope you have a good weekend... don't do too much work around the house!!
Ack! The scales went back up to 188.6 lbs today.... too much salt in the noodle soup?
Oh, well.
Pass the water.

Pass the water.
Yea, that is why I don't like water weight! Painting the house, I have sweat off a ton of pounds....but the second I pick up water, it comes flooding back! haha no pun intended
Hi everyone. I'm new here. I find this site very interesting. I am over 180, but 180 is my first goal. So can I join you guys? I hope so. I'm tired of being fat. I'm so sick of it. It makes me hate myself. I love shopping but it?s been such a pain to find anything nice to wear that fits me. I use to be a happy person, but now I'm just a big fat slob. I would share how much I weigh on here, but I'm too embarrassed to even say. I guess I'm just looking for a few friends to share some of the same problems I have. My ideal weight isn't anything close to the celebrities or anything, but it would be nice to be 140. I would be satisfied to be at 140.
