Would anyone like to join a 180's club? I've been stuck in the 80's for quite some time now and would enjoy some company... if anyone's interested.

Well, I had a bad weekend, bounced up a couple puonds from too many
drinks and still stayed there even after praying to the porcelan gods
for a day!  I played it strait the last 2.5 days and am back down
to 189.5 today.
Well I guess I'm making progress..... I logged over 5,000 calories in alcohol alone last night, tonight my calories are still way off the scale close to 4,000, but they're only a few hundred in alcohol.

This will get easier?
As far as I'm concerned, you have to have some indulgent days,
otherwise you won't stick with it.  As long as we don't do it
everyday.  I know personally I need to.  That is the main
reason I didn't stick with it before, I was too strict with myself and
after a while I couldn't handle it anymore.
Good Morning all!  I'm feeling good today.  I had a good exercise class yesterday and increased my time by 1 minute on the treadmill and Nu Step, and went to 12 reps with the hand weights.  I know that sounds silly to those of you who work out so hard.  But I've gone from being bedridden in February to this level, so I'm very happy!

sparksline - we'll be right there when you graduate to the 170s!  It sounds like your low calorie level works for you.

supersized - you can do this.  I found that increasing my calories to 1700 kicked my body into losing that stubborn last pound.  I switch off my calories - low for a couple of days then high for a couple.  Seems to work.

shaye - thanks for being here with encouragement.  It has meant a lot to me.

aquade - we'll help each other get past the little plateaus and bumps..

m3lody - good for you in your healthy pregnancy

njasmin - you are on the verge!  I just crossed over myself after weeks at 190.

ama - sounds like you picked up a few pounds of water while having fun.  I have a big water retention problem.  Maybe we can exchange tips.

I'm back after being away since Friday.  Great job everyone on your progress.  I am happy to say that I am at 181.5 as of this morning.  Only down .5  but after the past few days I thought I would have gone up.  Now I just need to get back to walking.  I'm thinking I could make it to the 170s soon, I haven't been there in over a year and a half.
Down to 185.4 today! Yay! I did a half an hour walking yesterday and a half an hour of light weights, crunches, and leg lifts. Good job everyone on your progress... we'll all be in the 170's club soon.

Actually I looked, and I didn't even see a 170's club, so the first one of us to get there should start the club. Maybe that will give us a little extra motivation!
Morning everyone, I couldn't believe it but when I jumped on the scale this morning it said 175!! My jaw dropped , of course generally my scale never says the same thing twice so after repeatedly getting up and down on the scale I deteremined I'm 179.5.. woohooo!!! I even ate 1900 cals yesterday and still managed to drop a bit. But I can't leave the 180's club, I need someone else to go with me!

Claire your doing amazing, keep up the good work, and small increases in excersise is the best way to go. I'm overjoyed I upped my tredmill pace from 3.6 miles in a hour to 3.75 miles in a hour!

So wait ! I have a party tonight.. how many maragritas should i have?? 1,2, or 6? lol
The scale read 184 this morning. I should be excited but since flo has started I know it is probably the reason I am losing. Although I have been staying in range of 1350-1400.  I didnt seriously start dieting again Until 7/17 so thats  two pounds in four days. Probably water for the most part.

Hopefully next week I'll get back to the gym, once flo leaves.
I'm hoping my scale jumps down a few pounds when I weigh again on Saturday.I'm still kicking myself for the gain. I figured I lost 4 months by allowing this to take place. So, Instead of making it to goal by October..it will be February.
Aquade I had about the same gain as you. We can do this if we get past ourselves, and thats a bit of a challenge for me right now. Time.  I dont know what your goal is but mine is to be 162 by the end of october. I'll set another goal after that  possibly, but 25 lbs is my starting goal and damn it I am going to do it!
My ultimate goal is 140lbs, but would like to be at 156 by the Vegas conference on November 19th.
It has been fun ladies and gents but I am officially out of the 180 club. For the past couple of days I have been creeping into the 170's and I think it is safe to say that I am going to be joining the 170 club if there is one! the scale said 177.5 today and I am too too happy about it.

I want to join!!!! I just cannot go below 180 and its soo frustrating.  Hopefully I will have to quit in a week or two.....hopefully a week! :)
Sparksline, I'm handing your your cap and gown, and shoving you out the door - we'll all be there to join you soon, unless you lose so much so fast that your in the 160s before we make it!

Good evening all. This morning I was 189.5!!!!!! Yes, I am officially in the 180's (again). Still no period and believe me I can's wait for it since I know I will drop at least 3-4 lbs. when it's done. I tried lowering my cal. intake to 1400 but I'm still stuck eating 1500-1600. For me, losing 100 cal. per day is a big deal or at least an extra snack :) 
Welcome njasmin! I agree that giving up calories is very difficult.
Starting to slowly haul life back on track, I was still over-cal yesterday, but only by about 150 calories (1650). So my weight dropped back down to 190 even, I'm assuming that if I just keep it together today I'll be officially back in the 180 club tomorrow.
