I think we need a club too! Glad I graduated from the 200's, but need motivation to keep going. Now 195, only 5'2 so have a ways to go. Trying for 2 pounds a week, so maybe can join 180's club by August!

lupelmic: good luck. Keep us posted. TO ALL 190's MEMBERS: Instead of leaving the 190's club when we are successful, why don't we stay together and enjoy our successes. Wouldn't it be more motivating to get tips and extra motivation from those of us that are experiencing the same things? I know that people graduate to the 180's but we lose touch and we don't gain anything from those that are losing successfully. What do you all think?
I think I'll be in this club forever! Jumping up and down between 192 and 194.

OK, I'll stop complaining and get off my butt and do something productive. Cleaning my house should burn a few calories. Gotta get the carpet cleaner out. My cat brought some sort of rodent in the house last night and killed it on the carpet. Eww. Bad Kitty!

I'm in the club!  197.4 last night!!  It's been up and down between 199-201 for a few weeks.  Hopefully that wasn't all just water!

Jinxozzie--  hang in there. I was feeling just like you for a while (about 2.5 weeks and I finally moved to 189! I was getting so frustrated and I changed my calorie intake by 200-250 two days. It did the trick. Don't give up, it will change and then you're off with another challenge.

Good News and Bad News.

Bad news is that I only lost half a pound this week.

Good news is that I interviewed for a job today and got it. Yeah! First permanent teaching job, just had terms before so that is really exciting. Going to be a lot of work preparing for a new grade, but I'm looking forward to it. Had a celebratory supper, but didn't go too crazy.
What a great club! I'm joining! I made it to 199 pounds just this morning! Whee!
OK it's me again, but I just had to tell someone.....

It's been quite a day. First, my house got hit by lightning twice this morning. Loud! Scary! No major damage, but phone and cable are fried. Then, went shopping in the city today. Went to Reitman's and bought all my tops from the regular side instead of the Plus side. Hee Hee!! They were XL, but I don't care. Ever notice that the exact same shirt is cheaper in the regular size compared to the Plus? Then I went into AdditionElle and saw these pants I liked. There were no 16's (sizes big there), so I picked up a 14. It fit. Going threw the checkout and saw they weren't a 14 at all, but a 12. Holy sheep sh%t!! I know that sizes run very generously in plus size stores, but still it was a confidence boost just the same. I'll have to get a picture of my new outfit up this weekend.

Enough bragging. Got to stay the course or won't keep fitting into my new clothes. TTFN

I'm slinking back here to the 190s because I've finally had to come to grips with the scale.  My low weight of 188, way back in July, had to be a fluke.  I weighed 189 on July 11, then it went back up to 192 and is stuck there.  I was in denial.

Nothing has worked to break the plateau.  I tried increasing my calories, because it worked before.  It didn't work.  The biggest change is, I'm now exercising 3 times a week.  It's been pointed out to me that a cubic inch of muscle is 3 times heavier than a cubic inch of fat.  So maybe that's part of it.  I did lose 2 inches around my waist this past month, and I do look thinner, but I want the scale to show it too.

So now it's back to basics, reproducing what I did in June, when I lost 8 pounds in a month. 
Well I've forfitted my membership in the 180's club temporarily.... at least my intention is for it to be temporary. I fell off the wagon after my mother got ill, went up to 195.2 lbs at the highest and am now at 191.8.

So, if you'll have me, here I am!! And I'm going to do this!
I have been in the 190's club for a while I will drop in to say hello in the 180's but I don't stay long I have no Idea why my weight stays around the 190's no matter what I eat or don't eat and or excersize I don't get it I wish I would get kicked out of the 190's club for good and the 180 club would welcome me with open arms. And then I wish that the 170's club would hear about how great I am and want me to join there club really soon.  :)
Down 0.2lbs, it's not much but I'll take it.

Better yet I've made it three days in a row without going over cal or eating any junk food. Trying to get back to that being the normal state of things.
I'll be weighing in tomorrow.  Hopefully the scale will be kind and go down, not up.  Close to TTOM, so I'm a little frightened.  I've been doing some walking again and other fun stuff, so maybe it'll be okay.  Cross your fingers for me would ya??
Well I'm still sitting at 191.6 lbs, but this is an achievement, I've kept my weight down or at least not going up for the last four days after close to a month of manic ups and downs while I tried to get life back on some sort of even keel.

I'm fairly proud of myself for not bailing consistently for an entire two or three months or letting myself go off the rail until next summer whenI panick again.
Weighed in this morning.  191.8  I'll take it!  Hopefully it won't go back up this time.  I need to keep going down!!

Okay people, it's been five days since any of us checked in!!! I didn't have the best weekend and went up a bit, but it did prove to be water weight and the scale this morning has me at 191 lbs.

Sooooo close to getting to those coveted 180's.

I want to join the 190 club!!!! I weighed in on monday at 193.. I cant wait to see the 180's!!!
I'm leaving you again for the 180s.  Hope to see all of you there before too long.  The lowest reading on my scale this week was 186, but it often lies, so I'm saying 187.  I've been sticking to 1200 to 1300 a day and today is the first day that I'll go up to 1400.  Just sticking to eating only healthy foods, plenty of fiber, good amount of protein etc, has done the trick.

I want to join the 190's club too!  I weighed in at 198 this morning, so I'm sure I'll be here for a few weeks! 
By some freak of nature I weighed in at 188.4 lbs today. I'm sure it's not correct since I didn't eat very well yesterday and I expect I will be firmly back in the 190's club tomorrow morning still trying to loose my last lb.

Glad to see some life on here.
