150's group...daily updates
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

My goal is 140 for now, possibly 135 depending on how I look, what shape I am in and how my cloths fit!

I am happy to say that after 7 weeks here I am finally into the 150's group. This morning I weighed in at 158.5! WOOO HOOO. I was sad to leave the 160's groupd but I kno a few of them will b joining us soon. My next mini goal is to get into the low 150's by X-mas. So I need to drag myself out of bed, didn't this morning it was too WINDY and I am trying not to catch a cold, and go walking 6 days a week.

I was sad to leave the 150's which is honestly why I stopped posting, there isn't a support group like these gals! So I'm back and I honestly don't care what weight I am (as long as no one else minds).
138 again this morning I really want to get down to 135 by christmas. However these last few pounds are really hard. I am in the best shape of my life which is really great. I ran a solid 3 miles yesterday! I couldn't believe it, I just kept going and going.
My weight gain around thanksgiving wasn't too bad. Thanksgiving morning I woke up and went for a run. I was more concerned with just getting some physical activity in to jump start my metabolism than I was with actually keeping thanksgiving weight off. Before that was my birthday and my friend's wedding. So I haven't really been LOSING just kind of maintaining around 140. I'm determined to get to 135 before christmas!
carie sorry for being gone for so long. I have a feeling when you get down to 140 you'll want to try for those last 5 pounds :) It might be the difference in the next clothing size down :)
So glad this thread is back in full force! What are everyones pre Christmas goals?

Hi Foxylady, I knew it wouldnt' b too long until more of the 160's group made it here. Gosh this week has been no fun. I have a nasty cold that is just draining me!!!
I am going to try to go walking before work tomorrow. Hopefully I will feel well enough to do it. So far I am not gaining any weight and have been able to stay in my calorie range. Time for beddie bye for me. I am soooo tired.

Carie my christmas goal is to be either 135 OR just under like 134 or 133. I'm going away with my family on christmas eve to one of the most decadent places on earth. It's this inn with super delicious food. Really I know i'm going to gain 5 pounds from the food, cookies, croissonts etc. I intend on going for a run at least once while i'm there. The grounds are just beautiful and it will be very nice to check them out via a run.
136 this morning :) I'm trying to see where it is my body will actually look its best. Will I be best at 125 or 130? I can't decide. Its hard when I don't feel that different in my skin, aside from the amazing amount of energy, but I've always felt good about myself. Can anyone else relate? Not that I want to weigh 110, I know that would be unhealthy, I just want to be strong and toned.

No posted in a while, but don't worry - I didn't go back to my old ways at all. My weight has just stayed the same because I've not been fighting the fat as much.
But I'm back in the game now!
Had the best feeling ever on Saturday - went shopping for a Christmas dress. I didn't get one (there wasn't a christmas dress anywhere! Can you believe it?) but I got a top and it was a size twelve! I couldn't believe it. I tried it on twice to be sure!
I haven't been a size twelve ever! I went straight from teen-wear into size sixteens.
My mission (no offense guys) is to get out of this group asap. I'm only 152 now!

I never realized how hard the holidays are. Between the candy everywhere, the baked treats, the alcohol its a tough season. I was talking with a friend telling him that I was indulging a little too much, and he said it happens. I said "i've been indulging since Thanksgiving!" I can't wait for my food routine to get back to normal, and I'm going to stay on track between now and christmas. Go to the gym as often as I can, and eat as well as possible. I'll just have to make the rule of no dinners out between here and Christmas :)

OMgosh, I have to vent. So I let loose yesterday for my birthday and ate everything I wanted and a few things I didnt. :0
But I figure if I don't do it on my bday, when can I, right? I'm not going to weigh myself until monday and drink lots of water.

Whew! I had such a naughty weekend. Still in the 150's, thank God. I need to do some serious exercise today but it's so cold and rainy.

I am glad (and sorry) to say that I will soon leave the 150s group. I got on the scale and it said 149.8! I started out in the 170s about 9 months back. And I've been overweight pretty much all my life. It's taken me a while because I don't exercise too often, and I still eat pasta practically everyday. HOWEVER, I know longer binge, so even small deficits each day have caused the weight to come down with time.
For the past few months, I have been using bodybugg, which tells me exactly how many calories I burn each day. I am 25 years old, 5"4 1/2 and I've found that I burn about 1850 if I sit on my butt all day and about 2400 when I work hard at the gym. You'd be surprised how just moving around doing housework burns up calories. Anway, I love this tool because I never feel like I'm depriving myself. If I lose 2400 calories that day, I can eat 1800 and still have a 600 calorie deficit. If I sit around all day, I don't feel I have to starve myself, because I know exactly what I can safely eat. If I eat too much, I just burn more calories in the last 2 hours before it's tallied. The bodybugg is expensive (and you must wear it on your arm all the time except when you sleep) but in the long run, it's probably a lot cheaper than all the other stuff I would have bought in the past few years to lose weight. I also occasionally take the alli pill, but that alone would not bring down pounds if you're eating more than you're burning.
I know this may sound like I work for the bodybugg company, but I am honestly just a happy customer obsessed with this product. Good luck to you all and hope to see you in the 140s soon!
