150's group...daily updates
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.
Good morning and have a great day all!
Munsey, Munsey, Munsey, Munsey, Munsey, *shaking head* don't worry, you're not alone. I can't shake 150 to save my life.
It's nice to know that I'm not the only one the 150's have captured and are holding for ransom.
No matter what I do, I will then get sick, or throw out my back, or have house guests, or go on vacation and I am trapped in my weight safety bubble.
Blah.
Truth be told, I haven't been counting my calories either. I check everything, but don't log them. Maybe that's why we're not making any progress. But really, though, who wants to log everything?
KIT
Who wants to log everything? I don't, but "you bite it, you write it" seems to be the only thing that works for me.
Have a great day!
Last night I went to dinner with friends and ate with wild abandon! So today I will be good and keep it healthy and moderate.
I'll be away from the computer most of the weekend, so I'll try to keep a small notebook to cc.
Are you ccing?
I wanted to introduce myself. I am ....new here to say the least...and new to actually *dieting* although I call this a lifestyle change, not a diet.
I am 25....gonna be 26 on the 20th..
Last thursday when I started this I weighed 160lbs. Today is Wednesday April 2nd and I have already lost 2.2 lbs!! I really didn't expect more than 1 lb so I am elated!!
height: 5'7"
CW: 157.8
GW: 135
So I am officially joining the 150 club!!!
EDIT: April 11th.
CW: 156.2lbs (-1.6lbs) It was an even 2lbs, but my husband was home for a week and he thinks he has to eat out multiple times, plus it was TTOM, so not bad. Next month when he comes home I will do better at eating healthy despite his desire not to. :]

Wanna tell a little more about yourself?
How old are you and how do you plan on losing? Where are you from?
Best wishes,
Amy
Hi ladies.
27, 5'7, 150-151lbs. 150 is so hard for me to break. I've been here since December. Agggg. One thing I have to admit is that I haven't been exercising as much as when I was losing. I better get back to it!
Let's do it.
Hm. It sounds like there's some magical barrier at 150. lol. I started my cardio again, but I haven't seen any results yet.
*sigh*
I also don't log my food anymore. I'm hoping it's got nothing to do with my plateau, but I'm starting to think it must. What do you all think?
Unfortunately, I think the food part of the equation may be why we can't break the plateau. I just get so depressed that I have to eat less than I am eating
I have never taken my calories so low that it would affect my metabolism, so I can only conclude that my body is doing everything it can to resist losing more, by upping my appetite. I am not gaining, and I may even be losing a bit of body fat and gaining muscle, but not enough!!!
Hello All,
I'm back and hopefully it'll be short term, not to say that I don't like this forum but it's such a sense of failure to have gained the weight back. I've lost 5 lbs. so far and am now at 154 but I want to be in the mid 140s by the end of May. Just stopping through to say hello and to stay encourage and maybe offer a little encouragement.
Hi Guys!
I just joined the community this morning. Cant believe what a supportive environment you've got here! So here is my story. Im 23yrs old, 5 4 , and 158lbs. I was in great shape over the summer and moved to a new town for a new job. Didnt know anybody and just ate and ate and now none of my clothes fit! In all Ive gained about 15lbs in 7months. - So my goal weight is 128 (suggested by doctor & personal trainer) Anyone here have a similar goal in mind?
