150's group...daily updates
Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

yeah i wonder if it was from the trimspa, or what... and if so, i am sure they would want to cover that one up... (goes to cabinet and throws away the trimspa that has sat there untouched for months, lol)
sorry you are sick ltlmsmfft :( i hope you feel better quickly.. try to stay away from "comfort foods", okay?? dont want you being sick to cause you to gain weight back, you have been working soooo hard to lose it..

Ok amigas! I got my arse on the bike and rode for 30 min--im trying to do 60 min of cardio a day, but my butt really hurts after 30. I'll see if I can drag myself down again later.
unicat, I used to eat egg beaters all the time, but 1/4 c. is like one egg--I always cooked a 1/2 c. like pooh. I found that if you buy regular eggs and just cook the whites, it's easier on the pocket book--thats what beaters are, just egg whites.
pooh--put your hands where we can see them and back away from the candy!!! I have no will power either--halloween is brutal--it gets to the point where I just dump it all in the garbage.

good morning everyone! well i went home last night and went to Ihop cause I was too sick to cook for myself. i was good. they have this low fat menue on the back so i had eggbeaters w/ tom, onion and mush and 2 hotcakes, no butter. i skipped the gym and slept from 6:00 to 9:30 then my sons father wanted miami subs and whenever i have a cold/flu i'm constantly hungry so i had him get me a half turkey sub, grey poupon (no cheese mayo) and a coke. i ate and went right back to bed till it was time to get up for work this morning. i know eating late at night is bad but i guess what i ate wasn't too bad and i frimly believe if you are sick and hungrier than normal it's your bodies way of saying "hey i need extra nutrients to make you better". so for the first time in a month i DID NOT weigh myself today. i know i probably gained a pound and don't want to feel bad about it. i think i'm going to wait till wed to weigh in when my weight settles back out.
i'm proud of everyone in this group for being strong and staying on track. keep up the good work!

Hi, I'm kinda new here, but I am at 150 pounds, so until I hit 149... can I join your group? My diet started on Monday, and I've lost 3 pounds (probably water weight...) I love all the support on this site!!!

okay, so i MUST be doing SOMETHING right... cos this morning i am down another lb.. puts me at 153.5 :) YAY :) so i am not gonna try those eggbeaters yet lol.. i will stick to my frosted mini wheats... dont wanna change a good thing just yet... and its not like i am bored with what i am eating.. i did get all my water in yesterday too :) yay me :)
also.. i havent weighed this little since my almost 14 yr old son was born :) (at least as far as i can remember :) ) I am soooooooo happy... now to get even more of this fat off :)

Okay so the candy issue...it's friday and I'm going to try to be good. Just ate a chocolate vitamuffin so that was a good fix...it gets an A too...so nutritious.
Going through old cabinet where the tv was because we got a new armoire and found some good old exercise videos...i may have to break out some pilates later. did my jazzercise this am, that was good...lost one of the lbs. i found the other day, that was good...and no place to go today...so that makes me happy too.
it's all good...like the do something nice idea...i need all the good karma i can get.

Doing OK, but we have a teacher potluck for lunch today, dinner tonight (my husband likes to eat big on Friday night), and two restaurant trips b/c we're having guests from out of town. Whew!

mrswuktisch - good luck this weekend with all that "eating out" you will be doing.. try to make sure you have plenty of water.. especially at the table when you are eating.. try drinking a full glass before your food gets there, then drink another while you are eating, it will help you feel fuller quicker... also try to make healthy choices from the menu (i know, i am one to talk about making healthy choices eating out, me and my chicken parmigian.. lol)... hope you are stronger willed then i am :)

Oprah had these people on that were promoting a video, but they had some cool ideas about the universe. They basically said that positive energy attracts postitive energy, so if you want to be anything, have anything, all you have to do is ask the universe for it, believe that it's your right to be happy and have what you want, and then go into the world and do some good positive things--kind of like a spiritual Tony Robbins! lol! It caught my attention because there was a woman who kept trying to lose weight (sound familiar) and could never accomplish that goal. So they asked her if she truly believed she deserved to be that person--thinner and healthy--and she paused--which spoke volumes.
So they told her to basically treat herself in the way she deserves--with healthy food, exercise that she enjoys doing and to move towards being healthy rather than thin. I loved it!

So 152.0 again today... But I am not going to let that bother me.
Yesterday I did my 40 minutes of cardio and 20 minutes of weight training. I also drank over 2L of water again yesterday. Today I have my Pilates class (60mins!) and am already on my way with the water.
Last night I finally felt motivated and on track (even though I did have one of those 100 calorie chocolate bars... mmm so good!). I was on the bus home and thought to myself "cant wait to get on the bike at home". When I was working out, I pushed myself and made the most of every weight rep. Then I had a healthy dinner and some rice cakes for snack but didnt pig out. I am just finally feeling a bit better and back on a good track again.

I think a change has occurred. I was feeling a little daring last night, and since I didn't have to cook for my boyfriend, I thought I'd pick something up at a fast food place and treat myself. After checking out my options and their nutrition facts online, I found NOTHING at any fast food places that would come close to satisfying me, and keeping within my calores... then I remembered SUBWAY! I was able to pick up a 6" sub (with CHEESE!), baked lays and a diet coke with some calories leftover- which just so happened equalled one delicious skinny cow ice cream sandwich. The whole time, I felt like I was seriously getting away with something!!! It was great! Now I know I can treat myself without going way overboard! Yippee!!

yay heather on doing your exercise yesterday and drinking all that water... 2 liters is only 70.4 oz of water though.. at 152 you should be drinking 76 oz daily, plus you worked out for an hour, so i think you are suppose to be drinking 16 more oz... just some water information for you... you did say you drank over 2L so i dont know how close to that you are... but good work on drinking it :) and wtg on getting back on track with the food :)

yay planner for making a great food choice, instead of getting hmmm a bigmac, or quarter pounder, lol.. i love subway, but probably would of chosen something way too fattening :(

question for all ya'll... okay so i went shopping for clothes today. i just wanted a cute little outfit, right?? so i find this really cute pair of capris...size 12.. BUT they are midrise... now midrise are suppose to be worn right below your waistline, not like lowrise, and down on your hips, right? so i try them on... and frankly if i wear them right below my waist i have muffin top :( BUT if i wear them at my waist they look good :) so, since i am short waisted, is it okay if i wear them at my waist instead of under my waist?? at least til i get rid of the muffin top?? i am use to wearing all my pants at waistline.. (along my belly button).. so its will take me time to get use to wearing them lower, but i am trying.. just dont wanna have muffin top when i do, cos then i hate it?? what do ya'll think???
unicat- it's hard to say for sure about the pants unless i saw you in them but..... i'm a big fan of what not to wear and one of the things they stress is wearing clothing that fits. so my best advice is if the pants are meant to be worn just below the waist and they create a muffin top they don't fit. i would suggest one size up or buy them and wait till they do fit. i'd probably choose the latter.
