Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

Been stuck at 155/153 for weeks now too--don't fret, it will come off (I have to say it too, otherwise I don't believe it either). Stick to your plan, and you will see the change. ltlmsmfft is right, change up your exercise routine--I have upped my cardio from 30 to 60 min per day, but I just started and I haven't been consistent.

mmm... welll the scale doesnt like or hate me this morning, i suppose.. still at yesterdays weight so i didnt gain anything but didnt lose anything either.. not sure why, maybe its the taebo i am doing, building muscle.. cos i didnt get into the chocolate yesterday or anything like that.. in fact, my son gave me a small heart box of chocolate with 3 pieces in it, and i gave a piece to each of my children :) my tummy is giving me problems this morning though.. its feeling achey.. :( am hoping it goes away sooon, cos i dont want to do ddr, and all that bouncing that comes with it, with an upset tummy.. :( ugh...
my husbands submarine came in yesterday :) yay :) he called me yesterday @ about 11 am, asking me to be his valentine :) he didnt get to come home in time for "valentines dinner" but he did get home in time to take a nice looong shower and go to bed lol... glad he is home for a little while at least (although he did have to get up and go in this morning lol)...
all of ya'll who ate that yummy chocolate yesterday, back on track today okay?? lol... and everyone at a "plateau" the best advice i have seen is either up your calories by a couple hundred for a couple days or change up your exercise routine :)

hate that scale...up 1/2 lb. Since I've started in January I've only lost 3 lbs. I know I don't follow everything as well as I should, but the ups and downs kill me. I will keep it up though because losing is better than staying the same or gaining. But I do wish I could just feel a little more successful at this. I'm think I'm in a funk because we have this business trip to Naples FL and I'll be in a bathing suit with all the "wives". I hate the corporate wife thing sometimes...going to try to hang out solo as much as I can because that's what I like, but I know I will have to be chummy here and there with them. someone smack me for complaining about a vacation....
I'll be better about my water today...I was lucky if I got 24 oz yesterday.

lol... i know what you mean about the "corporate wife" thing Pooh... we have the submariners ball coming up in april and i have never gone to one... the thought of picking out a dress that will meet the other wifes approval is killing me.. lol.. but hopefully by then i will be a much thinner me, and will look hot hot hot... i tend to stay to myself also.. so it will be quite the event to have to socialize with them lol.. although i am slowly fitting into their little group (there are only like 34 wifes on my husbands submarine.. . the rest of the submariners are single or dating sailors....) as we meet once a month to support each other while the guys are gone...

I have a massive headache today - can too much sodium cause a bad headache? My VDay dinner last night was horribly processed and very salty. I didnt really enjoy it but it was a night out.
I got an iPod nano yetserday (yes I am like the last person in the world to get an iPod...) and am looking forward to building playlists for workouts at the gym. I am going to start going after work to the gym (instead of working out at home) once it warms up a bit. I hate taking the bus home when its minus 43C out... frostbite in 5 minutes is not fun. I figure working out at the gym will allow me to change up my routine - when I work out at home its pretty much the same thing every day with a few minor changes.
Today I am going to try and drink LOTS of water to get this salt out of my system. I am going to work out at home - 40 min cardio and weights. And I am going to TRY to get to bed earlier. I need more sleep...

poohct- don't be too hard on yourself. i live here in south florida and let me tell you something naples is chock full of senior citizens! i wouldn't worry too much about any hot body competion there! like i said it's all old people with gobs of $$$. very quit part of florida. i'm with you on the corp. wife thing. antisocial is the way to go!

ohhhh i'm so excited. on saturday i'm going to artigras w/ my best friend. it's a really cool artfestivall w/ music and stuff for the kids and sun & mon i'm off to orlando to hit sea world, islands of adventure and universal studios!!!!!! the co. i work for owns the raddisson worldgate so i'm hoping i can get last minute rooms.....or ThriftLodge here we come.

Thanks all...needed that. Excited for this trip, but dreading it, you know. Sounds pretty posh though, so I better enjoy it. 4 nights at the Ritz Carlton spa treatments, the whole works.... I could use a beach right now. Freaking a little because my mother in law will be watching the boys for the time we are gone. She's never watched them that long...hope she's good to them! Doing terrible with the water so far and ate a piece of brownie...smack, smack.

I am sitting here at work and want a sweet snack. I have money out to go buy a few candies from the candy jar... I REALLY want those candies! But at the last minute I decide to have some fruit. Normally I would give in and have one little candy, but I ate something better and it tasted really good - much better than the canides.

You know, there is nothing like cardio first thing in the morning! I used to swim 3 days a week before work, and I forgot how great it feels! Now i have been getting up at 5 to ride the stationary bike for 30 minutes! WOW! I feel great!
I am committed to behaving this weekend--going to Long Island to see my bf's daughter at college--so lots of eating out! I'm gonna be good! :)

Just checking in. Weighed myself yesterday and it was up two pounds b/c of v-day. But, I'll check again when I go to the gym tomorrow. I'm confident it'll go back down.

My hubby is out of town which either means I'll eat everything or really healthy. Plus I have meetings to go to today and they're serving pizza. That's my red flag food. I'm going to try and stay away from it completely. I just can't control myself around pizza!

Goodmorning! Well I totally cheated last night. I had 6 of those reduced fat ritz crackers and they were soooooooooo good. Of course it was right before bed too..... and some check mix. So that wasn't so good but I'm back on track today. I guess in the grand scheme of things it wasn't so bad I mean I could have had a piece of cake or some of the valentines chocholate lurking about my house.....
mrswuktisch- One tip with the pizza, take a piece and pick the cheese off. Eat the crust and tom sauce only. In south philly tomatoe pie is pretty popular

It takes some discipline to do cardio that early--I love to hit my snooze bar, and I am notorious for hitting it 5 or 6 times! If I get up every morning for a week, it will become a habit--It's trying to get myself to do it a week straight!
I am going to get serious about the weight training--I have been looking up routines and stuff to do to build more muscle--plus my goal is to be healthy, and weight training is good for arthritis--strengthens the bones.
OMG I am going to float away on all the water I'm drinking!

ugh my tummys not feeling well still this morning, i have heartburn really bad, and my whole tummy is bloaty, achy feeling.. and the scale is just plain mean... up a lb from yesterday and i didnt eat anything out of the ordinary :( i even forced myself to do my ddr yesterday :( dont think i can make myself do tae bo this morning though,... it would just be tooo much :(
