150's group...daily updates
Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

owie owie owie... i just did my taebo.... i REALLY didnt wanna do it... really really didnt wanna lol... i was sooo sore, yesterday i helped a neighbor move a couch from inside her house to the curb across the street... and that was hard work, it was a big heavy one with two recliners in it.. heavy metal frame.. ugh... then i spent two hours cleaning up our carport, and some of the inside of the house... and i think my "biggest loser 2 workout" dvd is starting to have some effect on me, cos my bootie aches, lol... working on my second 24 oz bottle of water, yay me... i am trying to get 5 or 6 of them in a day.. ugh.. i was so waterlogged yesterday that i thought i was gonna flood the car on the way home from picking my daughter up at school.. lol..

welcome to the 150's mkholly :) everyone here just posts their weight whenever they want.. lol.. i personally do it everyday, keeps me accountable...i just hit 150 (for the second time in the last week lol)... but some people only do it once a week or whenever they feel like.. lol..
on the thought of working out when you are sick... i would do whatever you feel like, but dont push yourself too hard... and make sure you drink plenty of water, and eat nutritiously :)

Doing well, but very sick today. At least I don't have an appetite! lol.
I think I'm around 154 at the moment. Haven't gotten to the gym in the past day or two b/c I'm sick and very busy. Not an excuse - honest!

The strange thing I'm realizing is how much weight I've lost and how that's changed my perception. A few short weeks ago I would'be been ecstatic to be 157. Now, I would be horrified to go all the back up there. Weird isn't it?
I think I'm around 154 at the moment. Haven't gotten to the gym in the past day or two b/c I'm sick and very busy. Not an excuse - honest!

I have been lonely without you all! :) I completed my first week of my new weight routine--yesterday I rewarded myself with a day off! :D!
Brigitte--that message thing is new--we will have to try it out--I have no idea what it is or how it works--linked to our emails perhaps?
I jumped on the scale this morning and I am at 150! we will see how long that lasts, lol! I know we weigh more at different times of the day, but that is wacky cus last night I was at 154??? I will just stick to mornings when I haven't eaten yet and Im naked ! lol!
I saw someone's profile who posted beginning and after 30 days pics of herself--really impressive and motivating! I think Ill get my daughter to do that for me!
When you're sick, your body needs some down time--don't feel bad if you don't work out--it's necessary to rest. You get better quicker!

so this morning i broke out of the 150's :) hit 149 on the scale, but like i said, i am not leaving just yet, i know too well how my weight can fluctuate from day to day :) my trend line is at 150.75 right now.. besides i like you all too much to leave just yet.. so get moving so we can move together :) yay :)

the other night, my husband and i were in our bedroom, and we got on the discussion of my weight....(nothing new, i am always talking about my weight lol)... and he looks straight at me and says "you dont realize just how much you have lost??"... haha... i say"well yeah, i know how much i have lost by the scale, and by measurements i take but no, when i look in the mirror i dont see it (except on those skinny days)...instead i point out all my flaws, like my wide hips, my love handles, my flappy bat wings... the area on my sides where the surgeon left me "shelves" from my breast reduction.... thats what i see"... he puts his arms around my waist and tells me looking me straight in the eyes "you have lost a lot of weight"... now this is a compliment from my husband because he doesnt say a whole lot in general.. and hes not the type to go around handing out compliments, so i am ecstatic that at least HE notices what the scale and tape measure are telling me, even if i dont :) yay :)

Congrats Brigitte on the good work you have been doing - exercise, water, eating well. Its so nice to get compliments. Enjoy your last few days here at 150's.
Funny how everyone notices how you have changed before you notice the changes in yourself. I look in the mirror and dont see any differences, but when I see pics of myself sometimes they look so different.... Plus I 'know' that I look different (I mean I have lost over 65 pounds!) but I dont register that I look different.
I am still around 150 each day BUT I have introduced lots of lunges, squats, and weights into my routine. I am not too concerned because I know I am eating well, exercising and drinking water. My arms are really starting to look ripped all the time and I can see my mucles - they look so cool!!
My BMI is at 22 so I am 'healthy' just not the 'shape' I want to be. Starting next Tuesday I am going to go to the gym with my girl friend to use the smith machines for weights, as well as the BOSU (squats on a BOSU are amazing!) I am really working on toning my hips, butt and legs so I can wear my new bikini this summer with pride!! :)

Whata man! You gotta hang on to that one! I have inspired my bf to start working out again--he used to run marathons (he is usually very active) but has been misbehaving for a while--I was so proud of him when he told me he went for a 25 min walk to ease back into running! I think its great! When the weather is nice, he is always willing to go for a bike ride with me, so now we can support each other with exercise! (I am NOT running--I hate it! lol!) but I will ride my bike next to him!

I've steadily been at 149 for a week and think its time for me to move on to the next group...

Unicat- congratulations on the 149 ! I know that is a great feeling. And so sweet @ hubby. :) That is hardest for me too - to notice any difference in my body... other than what the scales tell me.

heather - remember building those muscles you are gaining lbs in muscle weight, so staying around 150 while you are doing it is awesome :) and you are probably burning what little fat remains on your body at the same time :) so whoooohooooo :)

thanks dee.. i think i will keep him :) hehe.... and congrats on getting the bf to get more active again.. my husband has been losing weight since he got home (valentines day he was like 220 or so) because he has to pass his PRT sometime in march... he is already down to 209 this morning.. ugh.. lol.. why is it sooo easy for the men.. but we have really been limiting his diet to mostly low carb stuff... which he is already getting bored with, cos he doesnt eat veggies lol...
carabo - we will miss you, but plan on seeing you in the 140s sooon :)

Yay it's March! Spring is almost here! Welcome back joanna :)! Posting here helps a lot--you get encouragement when you need it, or a kick in the pants when you want that instead! ;) But mostly it helps to see that you are not the only one with struggles--we are all going through the exact same thing, and that's reassuring.

Hi everyone, I'm new to calore-count, and I'm in the 150's so I thought I'd drop in and say hi. I've been counting my calories and calories I've burnt on here and it's fantastic to know exactly how many your putting into your body. I don't get a lot of time to exercise but I wondered if any one knew if hula-hooping is any good? I went out today and bought one on my lunch break (and a skipping rope!)

OMG that sounds like so much fun! I haven't done that in years! I bet hula hoops are great exercise--you just have to sustain the activity to get some cals burning. I know jump rope is excellent cardio, and good for power in the legs.
