150's group...daily updates
Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

well this is # 1 of my 3 posts goal for today. i had grits and water for breakfast and have a healthy lunch, dinner and snacks planned for the day. i know i'm going to have to force myself to exercise but i'm determined to stay on track. i'm kind of excited about my late night workout. i got a tai chi dvd and it has an am workout to get you invigorated for the day and a pm workout to wind yourself down for bed. i'm going to do that in addition to my cardio.
mmmm chipolte sounds good! my grocery store has a great chipolte marinade that's great when cooked in shrimp or chicken over rice. sometimes i even dump a little marinade in the rice for extra flavor and it's really low fat.

I had a terrible I time sleeping, I think it's because I took excedrine yesterday late afternoon, I've been mostle off caffiene for more than a month now, so I think I was really buzzed. I was able to fall asleep sometime after 2am.
Man I was so hungry too, I ended up having to eat something, and that didn't even do it for me, I had to drink two cups of tea, and I still felt starving. I'm starving right now too =_=;
I was 1lb more this morning, probably due to everything I had at 1am, still kinda saddening, even if it's just water weight and that early breakfast bar.
I'm going to wait a little longer, re-weigh myself then log it.

I'm not surprised you couldn't sleep. I think excedrine has tons of caffeine in it. Don't be too hard on yourself. Have some fruits and veggies and keep drinking lots of water. Your craving will eventually subside.
man! I couldn't sleep last night either! I had a couple of late night cups of coffee, and that did me in. It's so hard to be good when it's TTOM!
Seriously, the changes I made for the diet were managable until TTOM came over to kick me in the shin.
To add insult to injury, my family has picked up some tagalongs, girlscout cookies, (huge weakness of mine, only one time a year, how to resist??) So far I've eaten 4 total. Not too shabby. I can control myself apparently *giggle*.
Yeah I just finished off a yoplait yogurt lite 100cals, and a medium red pear, grocery store said it was 100 cals. Can't find red pears on CC, so I just did something close. I'm stuffed, I forgot how big pears were.

wow, i cant think this morning.. looks like everyone has been busy either not sleeping, or talking about chipotles.. lol.. so get some rest everyone (i slept hard last night, crazy wacked out dreams), and step away from the chipotles.. :P

I haven't been by here in a while but I thought I would update to let everyone know that I'm still here and hopefully not for much longer. I'm 152 today and hope to be in the 140's club by wnext week. Usually I stay at one weight for while then loose alot real quick, then stop and stay, then it goes fast again.... who knows my body is just weird!
Looks like my Pajamas were the culprit, had no idea that could pack a pound on lol.

Can I just join in here? I love what I have read... the support is awesome! Here is my situation. I am currently 154 lbs. I started out around 163 4 months ago. My goal is 135 by June 1st! I had gotten down to 152, but recently got off track for about 2 weeks! YUCK! So I started back yesterday! Trying to stick to 1200 to 1400 calories per day! Cardio 30 minutes 6 days and weights 40 minutes 3 days!!! Yesterday I got my cardio in, so I need to do cardio and weights today!!! I work until 7:30 pm, so that should be interesting!!
My commitments to you all are...

3. stick to the calories
4. Cut back on the sugar

lol nocturne... yup i would blame it all on the pajamas lol.. especially if you live somewhere cold... brrr.... i wish my elliptical were fixed... i guess i need to just take it apart and clean the sensor myself, that way i can see about getting a new one if cleaning it doesnt help the issue.. :( i saw 149 last week tooo... thats why i am soooo irritated at myself for this past weekend.. its been almost 5 days since my bad choices, and i am still half a lb away from where i was at last friday... so if i am lucky i will be back to that by this friday :( ugh...
of course you can just join in carie :) we are glad to have you here :) and welcome back on the wagon :) if you work til 730 pm does that mean you go in later in the day? maybe try to get your workout in first thing in the morning.. it will also energize you for your work day :) i have a tendency to "push" everyone here, lol.. (ask ltlmsmfft she will tell ya lol) so stick to the exercise, watch your calories, and stay away from the sweets :) as far as getting past the "sweets" issue... its not so much that you need to avoid sweets altogether (unless you are the type that cant just have one, then you need to use some strong willpower).. if i am craving sweets i allow myself to have one... but i make sure it counts in on my calories for the day... i also LOVE sugar free stuff like hersheys dark chocolate sugar free bars... or the godivas my husband brought home to me last night :) they have lots of sugar alcohol in em though.. which can be a diuretic in some peoples cases.. doesnt affect me much though... but i am not sure how it effects my weight loss for the day... i had a serving of the hersheys ones (5 little bars) yesterday, and i lost a half a lb?? so good luck with that :)

Thanks unicat! I need all the advice and support I can get. No, I am a nurse tech and work from 7am to 7:30 pm 4 days a week. So work days are tough to get in workout! But when I do it right away when I get home I sleep better and wake up easier! I just need to make it a habit again! I try to work towards a 1000 calorie deficit per day! I am so glad to be back on track and seeking this support! I will try those chocolates! Weight watchers has some good sugar free candy too!
well they say it takes 21 days to build a habit :) and ugh.. 12 hr shifts... lol.. are you losing weight decently on the 1000 cal deficit?? i find i have to do more like 500 - 750 deficit to lose... otherwise my body seems to think i am starving it?? just make sure you dont eat tooo many of those chocolates :) one serving is plenty for me, and i think the hersheys ones are 190 cal per serving...
No, I am not losing weight right now!! Maybe that is my problem!!! Do you do well? Help me!! I want to be 149 by the end of the month!!!

well it's the end of my day here in florida and i'm exhausted from all this overtime. i think i'm going to do some light exercise like pilates to get me back on track. it's better than nothing! i ate well all day today and have lean cusine meals @ home for dinner so, i guess i'm back on track!

Never mind! I figured it out! I like the dresses. I like the 2nd two best. When is this event you are going too? Sounds exciting! We are supposed to go to New York on the 30th, I would love to be 149 (or less) by then! Thank you so much for all the great advice! I really need to concentrate of portion control. I will put in my journal what I ate today!
