Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

well i had an ok night last night. all this overtime is kicking my but! i ate healthy all day except for a few cheese puff's but compared to how i was doing that's pretty good. today should be a better day.
Well Im getting discouraged... but I?m GOING to stick with this. My weight is still not moving, I?m at 159.4. Ever since I had that dang Subway meat ball sandwich things have seemed to go down hill...LOL I know that?s not the problem, though it would be nice to blame it on something! Anyhow, I?m starting to wonder if I should up my calories. I?m eating anywhere from 1200-1350 everyday. I was losing with that in the beginning but I have noticed by the look of my chart that I?m starting to platu. I?m going to try and figure out how to post my weight chart in my profile and maybe some of you can tell me what you think.
To start off I?m NOT a veggie person at all. Don?t eat them. The only veggies I eat are potatoes and corn, and MAYBE green beans. I knew that this would become a problem for me sooner or later. I was hoping that if I stuck to other healthy and low fat foods that I could press on with out problems. I am still exercising at least 3 times a week.

If you are at a plateau, definitely look at calories in vs. calories out--deficit could be too big (like unicat said). Eat more, but eat healthy!
My 20 year HS reunion is in September! I already know from the 10 year that I am in much better shape than my old friends, but talk about motivation! ;)
My bf told me I was obsessed with my exercise last night, and I got pissed off! Are we obsessed? Or committed? It seemed to me that the comment was made to make me feel bad--it just worked opposite. Any comments?

Djrizzo, I think men look at weight different that women sometimes, to the point when they are fine with a few extra pounds as women on the other hand will have a breakdown. i dont think that we are obssesed as much as we are committed to making a change in the way that we live in order to increase that sexy factor and self esteem that we had when we were smaller. his comment was insensitive and i think he realized that after the verbal diarhhea. Keep at it... for a healthier you and a healthier life.
Goooood morning it is indeed. Stepped on the scale, pleasantly surprised, 153, what?? Yup, ate horrible the last 4 days, went over 1300 calories every time, could barely control myself, and I still lost a pound. So happyyyyyyyy.
Don't worry I know that won't happen if I do that close to my goal weight. I'm just pleased as peas anyway.
Have a horrible headache today, which means I may no be able to exercise. =\
I'm still half alseep, had to work late last night after class. Super fun.

ltlmsmfft - sounds like you are well on your way to being back on track :) keep up the good work... fight through that urge to allow stress to affect your eating :)
morningstarfire - i am sure the sodium in that sub didnt help things... and i am no expert, but you could be right, your body may have adjusted to your caloric intake... or maybe you need to try to get more exercise in... thanks to the info from dees nutritionist, i hear woman my age (37) need at least 60 minutes of cardio 5 days a week...
dee - tell him he can kiss your skinny butt :P ya know, i havent been to a HS reunion since i graduated... :( apparently someone dropped the ball there... and if being totally commited to your exercise and weightloss at this point in your life is obsessive then so be it... sometimes thats what it takes to keep the ball rolling...

I've been sleepign badly too unicat. Nightmares every night! Maybe I'm a little too stressed out at the moment! Me stressed?!! ha
Ate 100 more calories than I burned yesterday, but I was insanely hungry and I kept it healthy. So, no guilt here! Guess I'll just keep plugging away!

hmmm.. wonders if it could be aliens :P hehe.. probably more than likely its my sleep apnea causing me to sleep bad though.. :( ugh.. i thought losing weight would help this... i have lost almost 50 lbs since my last sleep study... and i know using the cpap would help me sleep better, but.. i just cant stand it lol...

I am having a great day with the exception of ..... you guessed it.....I did not sleep well either. I wondered if it was because I hit the treadmill at 8:30 last night?!?!?! Been hitting about 1400 or so calories of healthy stuff the last few days! It feels great! Yummy tip of the day....

actually nocturne you may have done right by going over your calorie consumption a little bit, my understanding is that sometimes that helps to lose weight :)
Yeah I think you're right, keeping my body guessing is good, but I've only been on the diet for a week and a half. So should probably stick with it for the month and then eat more.
