Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

I like them too! But the sodium is so high in all the frozen meals that I hit atleast 3000 mg on my sodium every day! I just dont want it to hinder my weight loss process! I stick with 1400 to 1500 calories a day now. I recently upped it from 1200 to 1300 because my "deficit" was too big! But that darn sodium!!!!
Hello everyone!! I didnt have time to read all the replys yet but I just wanted to drop on and say that I finally lost another pound! Im now 158.4! It made my day.. ;-) Hope everyone has a great day! Im off to shower and get this day going ;-)
gooood morning :) the scale still read 147 this morning, definitely not gonna complain about no loss with no gain :) unless it sticks there forever lol... 

carie it is hard to watch that sodium..  i try to work my way around foods like lean cuisine...  i will probably eat one for lunch... but because i plan my meals (usually) before the day starts i can figure out how much sodium is in that one meal and then make sure the rest of the day is pretty low in sodium....  and am always drinking that water... :)

You progress is AWESOME!  And by the way we all hate our bellies!  Having kids stretches the bejesus out of them.

I had my daughter take my pics too--she was laughing so hard we barely got them done!  There was one of my backside, but I deleted that one. LOL!!!

At least you have some comparison pics--I can only start from here!  I'll be around more this weekend--staying close to home to get some work done for a change!

lol dee, thanks for the kind words.. and yep 3 kids stretched the bejesus out of mine.. haha..  i have worse pictures.. i started taking them way back right before i got my breast reduction done the end of aug '05, but they arent exactly the type of pics i would post for the world to see.. lol.. in fact there is only one person who has seen the ones i DID post besides family and now you all :) 

havent started my water yet, but am about to :) lol.. have to drink an energy drink first thing in the morning or i cant function (and i dont do coffee, lol)

hubby has to work today, so i will be around, as usual...

Not weighing myself on the weekends, I think the suspense must be doing me good lol.

Met my first goal, 5lbs down, went out for sushi on Friday afternoon and STILL had a deficit, I totally pigged out AND had a coffee, chocolate, peanutbutter, banana blended drink from my fav. hole in the wall coffee shop.

Of course I did work out longer than usual too, just so I wouldn't set myself back any! HappyHappy =)

Hope things are going well for everyone too.

Well happy Saturday all! I am off for a BIG walk on the first really nice day since....I dont recall! I am in Michigan ya know! I have had a tough day food wise. Not horrible. It is 6pm and I am at around 1800 cals. A definite splurge day! But my son had a HUGE potluck for Hockey. Tried to be decent. Turkey dog no bun...baked beans I made with Splenda brown sugar! But I did have 2/3 of a cupcake. We went to Chili's for dinner and I had grilled chicken and shrimp with steamed veggies but my son orderd the Molten Chocolate Lava cake for dessert and I had about 4 bites!!! Hopefully with a good walk I can keep my deficit around 200-300 hundred or so! All in all not bad for a major splurge day! I have also had about 50-60 ounces of water so far, but need atleast 40 more to offset 1 diet coke and what I am assuming has been too much sodium today! I love this website!!!
yummmmmmmm carie.. i love Chili's...  i love their mushroom jack fajitas.... yummm lol..  and the molten chocolate lava cake is to die for :) now i am hungry.. lol..  but i am NOT going to mess up this weekend lol..   the last two weekends have caused me grief, not gonna happen this weekend... (let try to convince my husband of that one lol.. dont know if he works tomorrow or not... ) just drink lots of water and enjoy your walk :)  
Well, I walked for just under an hour and 4.0 miles per hour. My normal outdoor walking pace! Felt great!!! Now I am at a 470 calorie deficit for the day! Not bad, but I may have a little oatmeal or PB toast around 8pm. Not sure. But I would still be left with a 300 ish cal deficit. Not bad for a "cheat" day! I held at 153 today. I will let you all know tomorrow what today did to me!! Maybe I will eat my snack quick now. It has been about 2 hours since I ate. Than a quick set of crunches, some laundry, some dishes and down to read and watch a little TV!
good job on the walking.. :) definitely let us know tomorrow how it goes from today :)
Okay, bagging the oatmeal or PB snack! I mean lets get serious...I had plenty today!!! Tomorrow breakfast will be egg and toast! No egg beaters, the hospital cafeteria doesnt do "cooked to order" food on the weekend. I will have to settle for the scrambled pre mades and toast or oatmeal! I need to get my lunch and snacks together! I only work until 3:30 tomorrow, so I will still have lots of BEAUTIFUL day left to walk atleast an hour!!! I feel really great thanks to the cool support of this website!! As soon as I figure out how to put pics on my page I will!
yay on not eating the snack :) whoohoo wtg :)   i am making scrambled eggs for the family tomorrow morning, but an omelette for myself :)  yay :)

My kids should be able to help too. My son put the "virtual model" pics on for me.  Let us know where you go tomorrow when you leave us 150's! I held strong at 153 this morning! I would like to stop weighing myself daily after today.... what is your thought on checking your weight? How often?

HAVE JUST FOUND THIS WEB PAGE .SOUNDS GOOD.

I am 5ft.1 and weigh in at 151.5lbs. I have been at this weight for weeks now but hope to be able to move on. I weigh in once a week at the gym and now some other folks are joining in .Must be the thought of summer Iwant to look and feel good without clothes clinging to me.
I added up all the food I've consumed (since I joined) minus basic daily expenditure + exercise, for fun! 

But it says I should have only lost 1.7lbs, not 5 that I have lost.. strange?
carie - congrats on holding strong :) especially after a cheat day :) yay :) glad your son was able to help you put the virtual models up :)  umm.. about weighing.. i weigh myself everyday, i find it holds me accountable.. i can see if i gained from something i ate the day before, or if i lost doing this or that.. ya know??  but a lot of people only weigh themselfs once a week.. i guess it is personal choice :)

welcome safeway :)  you will be out of the 150s group in no time at all i am sure :) use all the tools that calorie count has to offer you, and these groups are great for motivation, and help :)

nocturne - umm interesting lol..   what did you come up with?? lol...   and having lost 5 lbs instead of 1.7 is good :)  you see, calorie count figures it at an average of 1 - 2 lbs lost weekly, which is GOOD AND SOLID weightloss... but they dont take into account for water weight, etc..  besides i have had losses much bigger, and even had losses smaller lol.. its just an average.. but its suppose to be better for you to lose it slowly.. i mean after all you didnt put on the weight overnight?? right??

okay, so as of this morning the scale says i weigh 146.... so as long as i dont mess it up today (hubby IS off work today, so who knows what we will be doing)... i will be definitely moving on tomorrow morning..  :) :(  i also picked up a new battery for the scale, and havent put it in yet, so it could say more tomorrow, or less...  we will see...  anyone else planning on jumping ship with me tomorrow ??  Dee???  heather??  you guys (ladies) out there?? anyone else??  come on ya'll get moving :)  lol

okay, need to finish my breakfast, clean up a bit, exercise, shower... and wake the family up.. its only 630 am here, and we dont change the clocks for "spring forward" ...  lol...

Well I set the dates to where I first started until now on my Food Log page, and then on my Activity Log page. 

After I added up all the calories for the 2 weeks + that I've been on the site.  Then I wrote it down so I wouldn't forget.

Then I added up 1800 calories for the days. Then I added the exercised calories to that. 

Subtracted the two and got a little over 6000 calorie deficit.  Perhaps I mis-posted my serving sizes or something on a few things lol.

I hope when Monday rolls around I will be joining you in the 140s. *crosses fingers*
