Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...

I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.

Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....

Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

Hi, I'm new to this forum (or any forum for that matter!) I've been in the 150's now for a while and my goal is 140. I read this great article in Oprah tonight about this weightloss MD. It was such a great story!! Everyone needs to read it. It is sobering. Dieting is hard! The story really hit home for me because last week I had a surprise surgery. The Dr. told me at 12pm that I could not eat for the rest of the day so that my stomach would be empty for the surgery. I cannot tell you how many times while I was waiting to go to the hospital that I unconciously started to get up and go to the kitchen. It was a neat experiment. I made it though.
Anyway, this article in Oprah is about, in part, how we need to stop being afraid of being hungry. It was motivating for me. I would be interested to know if anyone else has read it and what they thought......
So those One-A-Day weightcontrol vitamins haven't upset my stomach yet. I didn't notice a big difference or anything.

I weighed in at 150 this morning!! OMG! I am so close to the 140's I can taste it!! WOOHOO!! I can't believe it! The hard work is paying off...and it isn't as hard anymore! Thanks for the support everyone. Good luck today everyone!!!
Hi all, just moved down from 160's weighed in this morning at 158!!! Hoping to keep on moving down since I started at the 170's I'm pretty pleased with myself!
Sounds like everyone is doing well! Great job all! I weighed in at 154 down half a pound after a week or so of not watching what I eat, and no exercise! Was very discouraged for a bit! But now I am back! I am setting smaller goals for now! 150 By the end of April! Slow and steady wins the race! I hope!!!!! Have a great day all!!!

nocturne... i did the same thing..  i knew i would be in the 140s group, and it took me another whole week to make it there.. but you can do it :)

Yeah, I'm not discouraged, I just wish it wouldn't have teased me by dipping into 149.6 gahhhhh.  I have been eating saltier foods lately, so it's mostly my fault XD;;;;
Don't know my exact weight today, but I've been really good. Hopefully when I step on the scale tomorrow morning I'll get some good news.

The school secretary noticed I'd lost some weight today. That was kind of funny. She told me the pants I wore yesterday looked really baggy. The funny thing is I bought those just a few months ago and was happy when they fit! Now they're huge. Yippee! She thinks I'm not eating enough b/c I have a tooth that's been giving me trouble. I sort of went along with it even though it's not true. She's a pretty big lady and gets upset when she deems someone too thin. Funny that I'm in that group now!

Guess I'm going to have to start padding myself for work!
UNO100.. Thats so exciting, i cant wait for someone to think im getting to thin..lol beside my husband who loves me no matter what i look like or wear : ) but thats a good thing.

carie87 keep up the good work you will get there, i think its a great idea to set small goals im doing the same thing 150 and try to maintain it  and then set out for my goal of 145 or better..lol i was really hoping to be in the 140 by the end of the month but after this past weekends partying, i had to kiss that dream good bye.. but as long as i tell myself to get back on the wagon i know i will get there and so will you..

Well, it is a small accomplishment, but after weeks and weeks at the same exact weight, I am down 1/2 a pound this am. 153.5! I will take it and even if I can lose 1/2 a pound a week I will get there that way! It was a pleasant surprise!
PS. Hollyebelle, you are such great inspiration, I know you can "get back on the wagon" and you cound get the the 140's group by the end of the month for sure! Just visit when you do! I hope to be there by April!
Hanging on at 150, I have a feeling I might linger at 150 for a few days or so. It is okay though....I keep reminding myself that this is less than what I am used to seeing. I started jogging last week and it makes me feel really energized for the day. Anyone else start something new that they enjoy???

well its that time for me.. eerrr but still going strong i really am wanting to get to that 150 mark and hang on to it before i start really trying to move below it, i was able to get myself in check this week and get myself almost back down to what i was before i went to the party this past weekend.., but now i know why i wanted so many sweets..lol im gonna take the rest of the day off and take the oldest to the beach so i hope you guys have a great day and we are all slimer in the morning..take care
today im no closer than i was before.... i decided i need to lose more than 10 lbs and to do that i am going to go down to 1300-1400 a day... i havent done much exercsie lately and i think if this continues im gonna have to balance it out! so im trying to get in the gym and use the elliptical and treadmill each for 20 minutes 3-4 times a week and keep this calorie intake.
Goodbye guys!!! Don't take this the wrong way, but I hope never to return. I am officially in the 140's this morning and am joining that group!

OK - maybe I'll check in again now and then. But I really hope I don't backtrack!!!

I am a new member to this site and am really excited about. I have been between 150 and 154 for years. It seems that no matter what I do I fall off the wagon and tell myself I am ok where I am at.

Well although I know the being in the 150 group isnt overweight for me (I am 5' 8") I just know I am not healthy. I eat greasy fried foods and bownies!! I will go to the gym for a few weeks and then get tired and decide I really dont need to go. I am hoping that being a part of this site will help me stay motivated and less likly to binge and more likely to go to the gym!

I am getting married in 5 months and just want to feel amazing.

If there are any words of encouragment it would be greatly appreciated. I have great friends and family but of course they all say oh you look fine blah blah blah!! Thanks again!

prettybowen -  i waited til my trend line was below 150 to leave.. i felt more comfortable doing it that way :) cos then i KNEW i was in the 140s :)  and with it being that time for you i bet you drop after it goes away :)

Hello everyone.. I haven?t been able to get online that much but I wanted to pop in and see how everyone was doing. Looking good! ;-)

I?m down to 155.8 now and I have no idea how my body is doing it, because I have had like ZERO time to exercise lately, but I have been out and about doing other things since the weather has been so nice!
