150's group...daily updates
Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

I weighed in for the first time in a MONTH.... mostly because for the last month I have not even come close to taking weight loss seriously. But, I lost over a pound, and I'm in at 154.8. I feels good to be more than half way to the 140's!
That was a great motivator. I can't imagine what it would have felt like had I gained.... hehe.

*hides from everyone* Ohhh how shameful I feel, I went over my matience calories the past 2 days in a row... I probably over ate a total of 700 calories, which totally kills a bit more than one full day of progress. Dummy! I didn't need that box of junior mints, what was I thinking? Plus most of them were hard, gahh!!!
Upside? I have a ton of energy, which I have been applying to excersing today lol. I'm back on the wagon. No worries, I'm not going to not eat today or anything crazy, just back to the 1300s. =)

nocturne, man i totaly know what ur going threw, i was cooking dinner and there they were calling my name eat me eat me, choc chips..lol i had to have a hand full... but i didnt have my normal icecream for dessert i had a zero cal pop with my daughter to make up for being so bad..lol oh well gotta live a little..
lol.. its okay ya'll even the best of us do it ;) have a look at my journal lately?? lol.. and i'm the one that keeps popping in here giving ya'll advice and kicking your behinds in gear lol...
It's nice to know I'm not a total schmuck for giving in to temptation. I figure it's only 2 days out of the rest of my life, I can get back on track! yeah!
My mom was telling me how that is the reason she usually blows her diet, once she falls off she says forget it! So she never eats bad. She doesn't crave food like me lol. She looks at me crazy when I "have" to have something or I will surely die.
I was going to try the Coke zero the other day... but I'd rather just have a normal Coke next month. I only tolerate lite and artificial stuff if it's present everyday in my diet. All the yummy good stuff I can't touch often is gonna be 100% real.

I am at 149 today!!! WOW!! My trend line is at 151 so when that drops lower I am going to make the switch to the 140/130 group. I can't wait! Hopefully I keep it off this weekend. Weekends are the hardest for me! I want to cheat all the time. Anyways, good luck to everyone this weekend.
nocturne: I agree about the coca-cola. I HATE diet coke, and I would much rather have a regular coke....but it is bad. I tried coke zero and I didn't like it...mostly b/c i am a HUGE regular fan. But other gals at my work like it alot. Buy a small bottle first to try it. Have you had the coke made with splenda...the after taste isn't as strong as diet but it still isn't as good as regular...hahaha :o)

151 today, I know it's my own fault, as soon as I get close to the 140s I eat too much. What is up with that? Self sabotauge?

156.6 Today... grrrrr.. Im sure its all sodium though.. yesterday we were out shopping all day and ate lunch at subway then when we got home late didnt feel like throwing any dinner together and I was tired so we ate Pizza.. LOL bad day... My sodium was around over 3,500 so normaly Im around 2,000 grrr..

149.4 - a new low, being good is paying off! It sucks I'm so behind on my goal, I'm suppose to be 147 by the 30th, I had plenty of time, I slacked off for a week though. ><;
But progress is progress, it isn't the end of the world.
I guess I shouldn't speak too soon, but I do hope I can at least move to the 140s this week.

I'd like to join this group. I am at 159 this morning and eventually looking to get down to 130/135ish. I'm 29 and 5'4". I just started counting last week and found the weekend tough. It is easy during the week cause things are so structured but once the weekend comes, I don't remember to drink enough water and don't eat at regular intervals.
Will keep posting my updates.

I'm holding strong at 150/151, but hopefully will see a little loss this week. It's been great to get out and do so much outside since it's been warm here in the midwest (maybe 80 degrees today--record high!).
congrats to those of you who broke through some barriers (way to go carie!!). Sometimes we just hit plateaus and even though we're working hard, our bodies are just happy where they are : )
also--my personal philosophy is that we can't be perfect all the time and to expect perfect eating habits every moment of every day is setting ourselves up for failure. It is better to say, okay, that was a splurge and figure out how we might make up for it over the next week or so. What is more important is to set healthy and realistic goals for ourselves, both in terms of exercise and eating : ) Okay, schpiel over!

I am down to 150.2 today!!! i even had crepes for breakfast with my mom yesterday!!

I am graduating into this club today. I started at 170 and this morning I was 159.8 after 7 weeks of getting my eating under control and increasing my exercise regime. My goal weight is 150. I am 5 7.5 so I would be happy at 150.
