150's group...daily updates
Bummer...can't work out like usual this morning...have to drop off a car at the shop with my husband and then have committments at my son's schools...
I hate getting off my routine...glad we have an elliptical...going to have to get on it tonight after the boy's hockey.
Goal today is to stick with 1200-1300 calories in case the workout doesn't happen....
Of course I woke up starving...going for the protien bar or the oatmeal...can't decide.

I feel you carrie. My sodiulm was terrible today also. I went to Baja Fresh (I don't know why I though "fresh" meant healthy). Anyway I had the tortilla soup and then when I looked it up it had like over 2000 mg of sodium!!I may have to skip the scale tomorrow or just stick my mouth under the faucet.
LOL acaruthers! 2000 mg in just the soup! Yikes! What is Baja Fresh? It sounds yummy!!! What state do you live in?
Well I just weighed in and managed to hold at 153.5 even with all that sodium! Phewwwww!!!! Today my hubby and I are going to breakfast before church! It is my favorite place for breakfast, my daughter works there, it is called Arnie's bakery! They have the greatest eggs benedict on the planet and I have to have it! My daughter and I will share it , but my portion will still be in the neighborhood of 400-500 calories! So it will be yogurt for snack, salad for lunch and chicken for dinner, and an extra couple of miles on my walk and some extra crunches on the Ab Lounge, but well worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I think I am through the worst of the sugar withdrawl! I really dont crave it much at all! I finally feel great working out and eating right, and have seen some results, however small they may be! I am still motivated!

Morning everyone, just posting before I head off to work. 149.4 again today, which is better than a gain. Can't wait for 148!
Wooo hoooo! I?m so stinking excited. With everything bad that has happened lately finally something goes right!!! Today I barely touched the 140s!! This morning the scale read 149.8!!!!! I?m so excited to see the 140's! I?m not going to leave here until my trend line gets below 150 though. I?m hoping the 140's are here to stay.. Thanks to everyone for helping me with this! Good day to everyone off to start drinking my water like always ;-)

I'm in Ohio Carrie. Baja Fresh is a Mexican resutrant where everything is prepared fresh, nothing is ever frozen...It is actually the first time I have ever been there and I was just looking for something healthy. WARNING:Don't try the soup:{

I think that its really hard to find healthy things at Qdoba and Baja Fresh. At Qdoba just a tortilla is over 300 calories and a burrito with a tortilla, beans, rice and a little bit of cheese is like 1900 mg sodium and over 800 calories. At baja Fresh I though ordering a salad would be fine until I got home and found out it was over 800 calories. I think the healthiest thing would be vegertarian tacos. Its no suprise that Qdoba is owned by McDonalds.
Yeah seriously, I ordered a salad at rubios the other day, I was worried about it so I only ate half, and it was over 400 calories JUST for that. Man I could have had twice as much salad made by me for that! Plus it was really blan, the guac was so plain that I couldn't taste it, so I didn't eat it =\

Oooo lime ciltrano rice....that is what they have at Qdoba too. Apparently McDonald's recycles that between its two mexican restaurants..
Maybe it's the same place, but a different name depending on the State, not sure. XD

Panera bread is my new favorite lunch spot! I can get a bowl of soup, a 1/2 salad and a whole grain baguette for just over 400 calories! I dont do it often. I usually eat one to two meals out per week. Todays breakfast was decedent! A mini danish and 1/2 and eggs benedict! Nearly 500 calories, but sooooo good! We ate so late there was no room for a morning snack, and I had a small salad with shrimp on it for lunch! (195 cals total). My snack will be a fat free Activia yogurt! If you have not tried this you should! It is 70 calories, no fat and really aids in the digestion process if you get my drift! Dinner will be a protien and a veggie, maybe a small potato too, and I should have room for one more small snack and still stay under 1600 calories! If I make it this will be the best I have been on a weekend in a long time!!!

Hey :) I'm hanging around 150-152.5 and I can't WAIT to hit thw 140's!! Sat is my free day and I had chipotle, extra meat and their guac.. mnn yummy... this morning I was 152.00 after my freeday so that is pretty good...

I'm glad to see everyone doing so well. Keep up the good work everyone. My goal is to dring more water today. For some reason I seem to drink less water when I am off work. I don't drink anything else when I'm off, but it seems that I am thirster at work than at home. Do you think it is bad if I add the Crystal Light packets to the water sometimes?

Acaruthers, no the Crystal light is great! Nothing bad in it. I do not worry about artificial sweetner in moderation. It gives me headaches when I drink to much though. Just drink 10 oz's of water with each meal. Chug half before and half after. Atleast you know for sure you will get 60 oz's. Throw in a cup or two between meals and you are good to go! I do better at work too for some reason!

Me...eat JUST what I pack for the day and 80 oz's of water. And the big one....take the stairs everytime I am able! (Cant take them if I am with a patient on a stretcher or wheel chair, though that would be quite a ride!!!)

DOes anyone here take any types of vitamins and if so what kind and have you noticed a difference? I currently am taking a multivitamin, b-complex and calcium (doctor recomended since I am over 35). I also hear Omega-3's are good, but I need to do some research and see what they are good for.
