I will start this forum.  I'm looking to start a support group for girls in their 20's with 40-50 lbs. to go.  I want to talk about what's working, what's not, what foods we are eating, and weigh in's will be on wednesdays.  I weigh and measure which I reccomend so I will do weight  and measurements myself....Let's get started!

I'm in!

25 y/o F
Current Weight: 184.4
Goal Weight: 140

I weighted myself this morning, so Wednesday if perfect!! I haven't measured, though - are we posting measurements?

I also weighed this morning and I am at 191.0 I am 24 years old!  I really just would like to post inches lost not really how big we are LOL!  That's seems kinda cruel to ourselves to put it ALL out there.  I have been using CC for 3 weeks.  I have lost 8 lbs and 17 3/4 inches total.  I had a quick loss in the beginning due to way undereating which I didn't know was so bad.  I was not even consuming 1000 calories a day and after 2 weeks my weight loss stalled out.  I have made a real effort to stick to 1500 calories a day and this last week was kind of a bust for me but I think I had my body in starvation mode.  I lost 1 pound last week and 1 3/4 inches.  CC set my goal weight at 144 but I think at 5'8" that might be a little too low so I am personally aiming for about 160 and then we will see how I look there as far as going any lower.

I want this to be where we really motivate eachother and get to know one another.  I am married and have 2 girls, Lily is 4 and just started her first year of school and Abigail is going to be 1 next month.  I have been overweight my whole life and am very excited to get into shape and most of all back into my clothes in the closet that I wore before Abigail was born.

I walk 3 miles a day on the treadmill and try to work out and add weights into the mix as much as possible.  With two kids it's hard to get the working out done but I can usually fit the walk in while the kids are napping.  I am not going to push myself to the point that I give up completely so I am going to just do the best I can and know that I am making myself healthier and happier as I go.

so welcome lchmommy and feel free to share a little bit about yourself!
