***We have moved: http://www.calorie-count.com/forums/post/2295 4.html***

**THE CHALLENGE TEAMS AND WEIGH-IN SPOT WILL BE A DIFFERENT THREAD, PLEASE CHECK THE NEW THREAD FOR TEAMS AND TO WEIGH IN STARTING JANUARY 31st******

This is a mini biggest loser challenge for those weighing at or around 190... or anywhere near really, I'm not picky.

It will run for 12 weeks.  Any one who wants to sign up post me a note with starting weight.

I will divide people into teams if there is enough interest, if not there will be one team and we will cheer on each other.

This post is mainly due to the fact that there are a few of us who missed all the other biggest loser challenges and who wanted to get in on one.  Here it is!

The team that loses the most weight WINS!!! ALSO the two individuals from each team that lose the most will be crowned "the 190's Biggest Loser" with full bragging rights!

Excellent!

This Challenge is still open.  It will close on Tuesday January 30th, and I will make the teams up and have them posted so that the challenge officially beings Thursday February 1st!  New Month, New life!  The contest will run for the entire month of February.  Thursday March 1st we will re-evaluate and see how we are all doing and if we want to keep going!  Im hoping to run it for the whole 12-week challenge but lets take it one month at a time first!

This is how points will be awarded: 5 points for every half pound lost.

There will also be extra incentive ways to earn points.  There will be a new points challenge each week and maybe things like drinking 64 oz of water, or staying within calorie limit.

Encouragement points will also be awarded for best tip.  If you have a good tip post it here and the last week of March we will vote for our favorite best tip!
Hi!

I want to join! :D

Starting weight: 200lbs (eep!) I swear it's mostly water weight! :)
Count me in, weighed at 194 this morning (that was on a full stomach in pants, I think I'm closer to 192).

198 is my all-time high and I definitely don't want to get near there again.
I would like to join!! I am at 188... i have been working w/ a personal trainer since November and have not lost 1lb. I am getting married in 7 months and need to drop 30!! I need some motivation!

Thanks
OH ME ME!!!!!! I'm 17, 5'4 and 193 lbs. I really need some extra motivation, and since I'm REALLY competitive I think this is it.
Oh, and I've lost 25 lbs since my start if that matters.
Okay count me in!

192 today.

I think this is going to be much better then the huge one that is running. I find that there is such a wide range of weights, and hey, those smaller people can do WAY exercises then I can!
im in s=165

i hope i can still be included its the most ive weighed ever and i dont put on any
