So I'm just sitting here, being bummed out, for no good reason

Me too, why do you think I have all these Santa threads going?

Hoping to stay distracted until I can fall asleep.

Sitting here lurking on line instead of finishing up wrapping presents I'm not even interested in seeing anyone open...  Wish I had gone home to my family instead of staying here with my husband...

Present are wrapped.
House is a mess.
Watching Sci-Fi on-line.

 cheer up!

Why?  Christmas sucks!

Meh, i dont celebrate it...so its just another crazy christian pagan holiday. They can do whatever they want as long as they leave me alone >< Run around pretending to eat pieces of god or whatever else they feel like heh.

i'm having a BAAAD case of the christmas blues this year too :(

Awww :(

The Christmas Eve festivities are all over now, so I'm just watching Ghost Hunters all by myself.

I'm planning on drinking myself into a coma tomorrow...yayyy!!!

Booze fixes everything.

It might not fix everything, but at least it makes my family bearable.

Bearable? That looks funny....

 Same here. =/

At least you're not this guy? Or more to the point, that guy's neighbours.

Happy Christmas misery guts!

Me too.

It just doesn't feel like it christmas, I've opened some of my gifts and they are all lovely but Bah.........

Yeah, Christmas this year sucks. I was here in Korea last year but this year just seems worse. All of my western friends have left the country and in Korea, this a couples' holiday so my Korean friends are out with their significant others. The guy I'm seeing is sick so I've been home all day alone (Christmas day is almost finished here) with my dog, watching Korean tv shows. haha

I'm just gonna head to a coffee shop and study Korean for a bit. How depressing...

Sorry everyone is feeling down. It's the let down after all the build up to the holiday and all the perfect Christmas shows on t.v. Remember the true spirit - whatever you believe. I sent food with my son and his girlfriend who went and served dinner to the homeless yesterday. Thinking of these people out in the cold and hungry (no matter their circumstances) makes me thankful that I have a bed to sleep in and a hot bath and my health.

Alibsam, I understand I have been overseas alone also, it is really hard. My hub was in the states and I was overseas in the army- our 1st Christmas-when there wasn't  even internet (yes, I'm old) . So from me to you I'm wishing you a Merry Christmas and hope your BF gets well soon. Hope everyone has a safe Holiday and Merry Christmas.

on the upside schnood, i love your hair

i tend to get sad on christmas because after today its all over. its not that this day is really anything special, more obligatory work than anything lol, and im not religious so it doesnt have that going for me, but i really really like "the season."

i hope you all have GREAT days regardless :)

I somewhat sympathise. I'm not sad, but I am feeling lonely. I'm used to being surrounded by more of my family than my direct relations (Mum, Dad and sister) today, but various predicaments have made this my first ever Christmas at home. It'll be better when we sit down to dinner, though, I hope.

Is it morbid that I found it slightly funny that the firefighter Captain had the last name, of all names, "Kruger"?

-snort- That actually made me chuckle before feeling sympathy.  Yes, his poor neighbors.  The only thing missing was a photo...
