I'm starting to lose weight and feeling great but am really scared that my boobs are going to go all saggy as a result. Has anyone got any suggestions or tips on how to avoid this?x
Wear a good sports bra!
Chest exercises. Most of the boob is fat, but the muscle on top can stay in shape and help retain form. Do the butterfly machine, chest presses, etc. Hope this helps. I completely understand where you are coming from since that was one of the places I would lose it first.
At least yours hasn't yet begun to sag.
Mine are already pointing to the floor and I've got another 35 pounds to go X(
I'll take dietingformexico's advice, though I wonder if there is still hope for me--er, mine.
I honestly think its partly genetics and depends on your breast tissue... some is firm and some is not. My mom is 60 and is still perky and firm (mmm wonder if Im adopted LOL) which in my case is totally unfair. Wear a good bra with lots of support and make sure it fits right. No amount of chest presses has helped mine unfortunately. The muscle is developed underneath but the breast still looks the same. but considering I nursed 3 babies and have flucuated from C cups to G cups and back to C cups again there not to bad ......and a good bra does the trick!
Some of it has to do with genetics and the type of skin you have in your family, some ppl have no problem in that area. Luck of the draw
I am not blessed in that area, even at healthy weights I have had to work hard to keep the girls a little perky. PUSH UPS - GOOD BRA - BUTTERFLY/CHEST PRESSES. It does work... trust me once I stop doing these things they start to relax again and hang lower and lower...
30lbs weight, 3 reps of ten everyother day... OH and do the push ups until you can't do anymore (start with the girl ones and work your way to the mens if you can't).
Good Luck~
If all else fails, get plastic surgery. That's my plan.
V Flys and chest presses. When you do them make sure you feel it in your chest don't go through the motions. You should alwaya feel the musle you are working.
Thanks everyone - I'll give the suggestions a go!
Just remember that if the chest exercises don't work and you end up sagging anyway, it happens to most women at some point. The people who really care about you (which should include yourself) won't care.
I felt worried too when I first started losing and after I had my child. But now that I am at my goal weight, with an optimal amount of fat on my body just doing push ups and chest flys is firming things back up.
But to be clear, they look like real breasts, go here to see some:

I was hoping that losing weight would magically make my breasts smaller, perkyer, prettier. Obviously it was just wishful thinking. After losing thirty pounds, my breasts didn't change at all. Thanks for the great link iheartsin.
