Sake's eating my skinny underwear.

Because this past week I've been focusing on cleaning (NESTING, MY ASS!), I finally got around to sorting through the underwear drawer and pulling out all of the underwear I could wear before I got pregnant, but not since my butt's gotten wide.  I mean, I could wear them but they quickly turn into thongs.

I'm still working on catching up all the laundry and have been tossing anything that I can't wear currently into a box, I've left the box in the corner of the living room that I've been doing all of my folding in.  And the newest addition to our family, Sake (she needed a home... Vodka needed a physical therapist...), is sitting in the box om-noming her way through my cupcake printed panties.

She has no interest in Alex's socks or underwear, but mine?  Oh, they're so delicious for some reason.

Thank you for listening and send me spare buttons.  My button drawer is getting empty.

I love the names of your cats. How is Vodka doing? Last I heard she was sick and you were planning on taking her to the vet.

LOL!  I  thought you were having a problem with your liquor and underwear!! I was trying to understand.  I thought maybe lost in translation!!

But after reading on I totally get it my Hope(pound mutt) will eat any misplaced underwear!! and they are always the nice one!!  She even got to my favorite Spanx!! She has cost me a lot of money!!

Whats with dogs and cats and underwear!

Bea

Vodka has done a complete 180 with her health.  She went from being so sickly, you could feel every rib, every bone, her face was all pointy and gross looking..  She wouldn't eat, she wouldn't get up and move around, she just sat around all day looking dead.

We accepted either the diabetes caused by the treatment for her liver issue or the liver issue which would worsen with the treatment of her diabetes would kill her over the summer.  We decided to let her go out happy and switched her diet to a home made one with lots of chicken, salmon, eggs, vegetables, and things she likes to eat (with the occasional bacon and eggs treat).  No more special cat food, no more cat food period.  Just soft, delicious meat.

And the **** got better.  She's gained healthy weight, her fur looks beautiful and she's soft to the touch, she's got spunk and life in her, and we're like, BUT WE ALREADY PLANNED YOUR DEATH!?  WHAT THE HELL!?!!

To encourage her to play more and focus her newfound energy somewhere other than in my work room with tons of spools of ribbon, thread, and tools to kick around, we brought home Sake.  Those two play together a lot like Whiskey and Vodka did when they were kittens.

Overall, Vodka surprised everyone with how well she's gotten, and I'm glad we stopped worrying aboout how to save her, 'cause then we'd still be focusing on her special diet foods, her insulin, constant visits to the vet, so on and so forth.  Preparing her to go out happy turned her into a spunky kitty again.

Only she doesn't eat my underwear.

My pup likes my underwear too.

Vodka's recovery just goes to show how good real natural food is! Even for cats :D

True true.  Cats are carnivores but most commerical foods (even the prescription foods) are practically all corn, soy, and wheat.  Grody.

My cat eats cloth sometimes too.  He chews sheets, robes, towels, and one time my most expensive sweater.  I have no idea why.  He has mostly stopped doing it.

My kitty loooves socks. She doesn't chew them but she'll roll around with one licking it, weirdo :P

I'm so glad that Vodka is doing well. Sick animals are so pathetic and they pull on your heart strings. I feel like doing a happy dance just for you and Vodka.
