I've been looking around for salmon nutrition facts. But the numbers seem to vary...
I'm looking for calories in atlantic farmed salmon, raw, with skin.
i find nutrition info that varies from 130 cals per serving to 200 per serving... So i'm confused.
do salmon nutrition facts usually include eating the skin?
oh i also wanted to mention, some of the websites have sockeye listed as having less calories than atlantic salmon. how is that possible when sockeye is the fattier fish?(i think) things like this is why i'm confused about salmon

I think it might be because sockeye are a faster moving fish than atlantic salmon, and have different proportions of muscle type? I'm totally guessing, here.
A good average for fresh, uncooked salmon is 50 cals per ounce. It wouldn't normally include eating the skin.

also thanks for the 50 cals per ounce thing. i'll probably just estimate at 65 cals per ounce and eat the skin also. I LOVE crispy salmon skin off the grill
