Salsa

This stuff is strong in flavour and low in calories!

What do you use salsa with other than corn chips?? (too high in cals and unhealthy, in my opinion!)
Looking for some creative ways to use this stuff!

baby carrots and salsa are one of my fav snacks.. very refreshing :)
I put it on baked potatoes and on salads (sometimes I add a few crumbled tortilla chips to make a taco salad). Hm, I thought I had a lot more ways...
Salsa on celery :]
I use salsa a lot.. most importantly on my baked chicken. YUM! Put the chicken in the oven with some salsa on top and a little bit of reduced-fat cheddar cheese.. very good!
I like to use salsa as "dressing" on salads... with some blackbeans as well!

roast some veggies and top them with salsa.  veryyyy yummy.

or make your own "corn chips" by baking some corn tortillas in the oven.  very low in fat compared to the bagged kind and way cheaper.

Salsa on grilled/baked tilapia or salmon fillets = delicious! (Suggested by me for my dad as a new low cal and healthy seasoning for fish.  He has to carefully monitor his foods since his heart attack. He gave me the "two thumbs up" approval on it.)

Salsa on real corn tortillas (they are small, and very low cal), baked in oven and topped with grated/shredded cheese = my own mini Mexican pizza

Salsa on celery sticks

Salsa on top of polenta

Salsa and scrambled eggs

Salsa in between a folded omlete

Salsa mixed with brown rice

Salsa on a hamburger pattie

(And the salsa my family uses is from Costco - it is a Mango Peach salsa - not spicy and just sweet enough! Very good, chunky and very low cal.)

Try endives... really good combination.  They're also good with guacamole.

Everyone thinks this is a weird dish but it is so yummy and very simple to make, brown rice, 1 can of tuna fish and salsa mix it together and you have a very healthy and satisfying meal.

Microwave a bowl of frozen veggies of your choice and add a spoon of salsa when you come to eat it. It peps them up nicely.
Dip raw veggies in it; top eggs, beans, cooked veggies, or mix it with rice to make "Spanish" rice.
i mix it in to ground turkey and then make a turkey burger out of it. adds some awesome flavor to a plain old turkey burger!
Pico De Gallo is the best salsa ever and I put hella all over these breakfast tacos I made and it was so good oh my god. I scrambled a couple eggs and threw in some tri tip, turkey bacon, and deli ham. A little hash browns. Threw that on a couple tortillas with a little cheese, light sour cream, pico de gallo, and tapito.. its a wrap.. so good and bomb.. wow. i want one now
