Hello everyone! I feel totally blown away! When I decided to write this post I wanted to give it the title of "been there done that". My reason for this is that I have actually lost over 100 lbs. I quite smoking about a year ago and have gained some of it back. Six-years ago I weighed a hefty 344 lbs. Today I weigh 277lbs. which is still pretty good. I had gotten about five lbs. heavier than my current weight. I started walking on a treadmill and managed to stop the weight gain and also began a downward crawl towards weightloss. Oh, I am really glad to be here. I am looking forward to making a few new friends. I know that I am in good company.
I'm in there with you, too except I'm just starting. I've been a member here for five days and am down two pounds so far. Keep in touch. Good luck!
Keep up the good work. I've been here since 10/28 and I've lost 5.5 pounds. That doesn't sound spectacular, but I've had 3 or 4 days where I ate much too much and I've really not deprived myself much at all on any day, so I'm pleased. Overall, my average per day is 1848. Left to my own devices, I would probably average about 2500 calories per day, so this is good. At this rate, I can stick with it for the long haul.
Hi everyone! I just want to let you all know that
1) we are all in the same boat
2) we are all very worthy people
3) we should all support one another
I am very glad to meet each of you. I do wish you all good luck. I guess Monday morning will be my 1st day back to the food journal/treadmill walking. I won't be able to be here everyday, but I will be thinking of you all everyday.
