Same Weight as Boyfriend
CRISIS!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I recently recovered from some strange throat ailment and then kindly passed it on to my boyfriend. While sick, I gained 1 kilo. He has lost 3.5 kilos. We are now the same weight!! Even though he is taller and more muscular! Words cannot express the sense of injustice and fury I feel right now. I have 7 kilos left to lose until my goal weight and I want them off, now, now, now!
For some reason, weighing more than my partner is a thousand times worse than weighing more than my sister, mother or best friend. Does anyone else feel this way? How can I stop comparing myself to someone I live with, who eats like a sumo wrestler but never gains a single pound?
To my shame, I have tried stuffing him full of cake and chocolate while I restrict myself to carrot sticks, but to no avail. His metabolism is magic. How can I make my metabolism like his, so that I, too, can inhale entire roasted animals and sacks of white rice without retribution?
My boyfriend used to weigh quite a lot but that was before I met him. Funny I just realized that his old weight is the same as mine is now, only his mesured in kilos and mine in pounds haha. But he is way taller than me too.
Very stereotypical of me but I do like that he is bigger than me, only that he gets very self consious when I complain about my weight.
GREAT NEWS!!!
He gained back a kilo! He's now heavier than me again, so all is right with the world.
Still, one kilo is only a slight margin...
And something else just occured to me...everyone here eats carrot sticks and is trying to lose weight, but our carrotless partners eat as they please and stay thin. That's it! I've found the answer! NO MORE CARROT STICKS!
He eats meat, meat and meat, i've never seen such a carnivore (except my cat) I have managed to get him to eat a salad once in the last seven months. Yet he is still thin (okay so he as a beer belly, but honestly, i think its the most adorable thing in the world)
But then, his job is physically demanding, he's out side all day every day seven days a week so i guess he must work alot of what he eats off.
ahh yes ive been thru this same situation before......my ex of three years was sooo skinny.....6'2 - 154 lbs. he def had muscles and a six pack too but his waist was so soooo tiny. when we would go shopping he would get size 31 shorts because he liked his stuff baggy! ack! i hated him so much for that....i mean honestly 6'2 - 154lbs......5'5 - 158 lbs......stupid lol
but....the tides have turned for sure.....my new boy toy is 6'2 - 225lbs......*yay* ill never even come close to that! :D especially now that i'm here.....in fact my goal would be to weigh 100 pounds less then him....that'd be pretty kick @$$
