Sarah Palin's Newsweek cover photo
How dare Newsweek put out the latest issue with an extreme close-up of Sarah Palin on the cover..... ready for this....that isn't RETOUCHED!
What do you guys think? unfair?
retarted
I think it's refreshing! Sure they may have been trying to insult her, but she can play this the right way and it would at least be one thing I like about her.
Although I am DEFINITELY not a Palin fan, I actually agree that it's wrong for them to do this. All covers get retouched, & to deliberately not retouch hers, yeah I think that's a shady thing to do.
I like it. I think she looks like a normal woman. The headline was a tad rude...something about how she's one of the folks. I agree that she's so un-washington. But then it says something like "and that's what wrong".
Then again, I haven't seen the cover myself, just what I saw on tv.
I'm just sick of Newsweek putting Palin on the cover. Her face has been on it for the past three weeks.
As of late, Newsweek has been five minutes late and two dollars short on its reporting on the election.
I don't see what the problem is. And I bet some money she asked for it to be done this way so she could look better to the people...
For cryin' out loud.
I could care less about the photo, but you have got to open the article and read down to the comments posted to it by markohoppis! Ha ha ha!
Re: McCain's hands: "Can you imagine that hand being placed on your upper thigh and then hearing him whisper to you, "You wanna put the Maverick in office, don't you?"
#8 - I now have a horrid picture floating around my head. I'll be traumatized for life.
McCain's hands: "Can you imagine that hand being placed on your upper thigh and then hearing him whisper to you, "You wanna put the Maverick in office, don't you?"
I just threw up in my mouth.
Who's the Maverick!? Say itttttttt!! Who's the Maverick!?? *smack* *smack*
I'm sorry.

OMG! I just saw all of that right before my eyes.. 72 year old gettin up and riding.. I hope not.
Who CARES what she looks like?
the fact that so many people have gotten worked up over this is just another display of america's preoccupation with physical appearance. as for me.. I couldn't care less! retouched or not, I still don't like her.
edit to add: ew you guys! haha
Even though i'm not a fan of Palin, i don't think its right for a magazine to be that biased towards one side. Then again as someone pointed out, she could spin it to be a way of making her appeal to the general public as being more real and relatable.
uh, didn't she set this up for herself by commenting on how she's a Washington outsider and she's just 'one of us'? isn't it showing that she's 'just human' which is exactly what she tried to state over and over again in the debate?
you know what WOULD be refreshing?? focusing on her POLICIES. i really wish she wasn't attractive because then people would stop talking about her appearance and start talking about how Biden made worm's meat of her at the vice-presidential debate.
