This is a really good pizza recipie I kinda just made up:

1 100% whole wheat Thomas Sahara pita (140 cals)

1/4 cup Ragu pizza sauce (40 cals)

1/4 cup prt skim mozzerela (80 cals)

preheat oven to 450 and then put all toppings on top of pita. Add pepperoni if wanted. Put in oven for 10 minutes, or until pita is crispy. It's really good and is quick to make. :)

I do this all the time,

to mix it up try adding,  Olives or Onions, or peppers, pineapple, etc

Healthy things you would normally like on your pizza !

Its a great lunch!!!

You can also find pre-made pizza crust that isn't too bad on the calorie and fat count. I have found it at Wal-mart near the pasta and sauce. I want to say it's like 170 calories and 2 grams of fat for 1/6 of the crust.

My husband and I make this kind of pizza. We add turkey pepperoni, onion, bell pepper, and whatever other veggies we have. We also add pineapple from time to time.

you can also you flatout whole wheat breads that are 100 calories eat and taste so good. Then you put olive oil, low fat cheese, and anytthing else you like. I personally like mushroom, onions, large slices of tomatoes, and black olives. I put it in a toaster oven fro about 10 to 15 minutes in 350 degrees.

very easy and quick and good.

english muffin pizzas on high fiber "lite' english muffins are pretty good in a comfort food kind of way for me.
I love to make my own pizza, but I usually just end up making a thin crust frozen pizza. You can eat a third for around 600 cals or less if you buy the right kind.

Here is something we used to do when I was young, and we were pretty poor.

Take bread, lightly toast it, slap on a piece of cheese, and sprinkle with oregano, then stick in oven until cheese start to bubble and get crusty brown.

Thats the quickest way i know to make a pizza. :)

Ohhh how I love pita pizzas!

I usually bake half a whole wheat Sahara at 350 for 4 minutes, spread on a layer of homemade marinara sauce, add toppings, and bake for another 8 minutes.  Mmmm.

My favorite toppings:

-crumbled feta (or cottage cheese, but it doesn't melt the same way)

-olives

-baby spinach

-chopped mushroom slices

-pieces of chicken breast

-basil and garlic powder

Just had one of those babies with my dinner tonight :)

danik, you should try the kashi frozen pizza's the I just age 2/3 of the garlic chicken with roast veggies for 620 cals and I am stuffed! I love being able to say that after eating a delicious pizza!!!! Plus I love almost everything kashi!

At Whole Foods they have a wrap called a "Lavash"  I buy the spinach and also the flax seed and millet.  They have about 120 calories, absolutely no fat or or sugar, no cholesterol and 20g of fiber and 4g of protein.  They get crispy in the oven very quickly.  Add a little salsa at 10 calories for 2 tablespoons and if your diet allows some low fat or part skim mozzarella.  I would imagine, it would be quite tasty!

I forego the cheese, but love to crisp them up and then dip them in salsa!

i make the same thing!!! except i use the whole wheat "pita pockets" (by sara lee i think) and they are only 80 cals. And sometime at the end of baking i broil it for 60-90 seconds for that extra crunch.

now i'm hungry.
