Well, I'm stll here and weighed in at 234#. A little up after a little down after being sick. I just can't stop eating and eating crap! Fries, chips, regular ice cream; maybe I just needed a break.
Ow well, starting over today and I'm trying to cut m calories back to normal for my diet and calorie burn. Wish me luck!
Still 234. That's good I guess?! I'm guessing this group is about dead except you you and I Dinarly.
07/05/08: 176.2 #. Probably _not_ all muscle as I've been eating more, up to 2000 calories per day. I've been very hungry. The usual--good, healthy food, but too much of it.

Still hangin' in there, but still 234#. Of couse, I can't tell you I've been eating the greatest. Got to get more inline with the program.
Of course, I've had a few small inuries that has forced me to lay off a bit, still working out; just not as intently. Then I pulled something in my groin (A flexor tendon?) while performing leg presses. No heavier weight than normal, maybe I went too deep?

Yes, I love the bicycle; I ride to and from the train stations on the way to and from work, and also to the library, etc. Next week I and some other people at work are going to ride in this: http://www.moonlight-classic.com/ . I really look forward to it. Have to get helmet and lights before then, though.
I'm also persevering with the strength training. I'm still using the machines but need to start using the free weights, which I'll be able to do at home (exercise room in basement of building) this winter.
What about starting a new group beginning August 2? I think we really are the last of this one...

Wonderful! Let's just keep going, then, but not try to keep the cumulative statistics--it's very tedious! And, also, keep the group open for new people just as long as they weigh on Saturday--much friendlier, and more likely to keep the group going.
Were you in Africa? My boss' son is in Burundi now.
I wanted to go to Africa but could not this summer! I went last summer and it was an amazing experience! I am definately going again!
Hey everyone! I feel so bad getting back into the picture and not being able to weigh-in this week due to being out of town. i am at the same weight right now.
i need to get back on the bandwagon and start exercising (i used to many times a week and havent in 3 weeks!!!).
OK it's been a couple of weeks. Glad to see this group isn't quite dead yet! 235 this week but I'm on vacation and it's starting out to be a feeding frenzy. I need to resist and eat well while relaxing.

I am 170lbs unfortunately but hopefully now that we're back doing our weigh ins then I will get motivated again.
I've really got to eat healthy food as well as count my calories though because I've hit a plateau for ages now and I think it's because the food I'm eating is high in fat n stuff so not good.

Ok. i am so sorry but last weekend i was out of town and this weekend i will be too :( I had a computer but no scale last weekend and the case will be the same this weekend. I'm so sorry!
However, I have gained a bit and need to begin exercising again. I have swam some and did yoga once but other than that i have been a couch potato when not working. I need to get back on track! My goal is to be at my goal weight of 130-135 (now 150) by the weekend before Thanksgiving. I need motivation!
lucydawn, never have your goal out of sight and keep working! Everyone has their bad days and even weeks (like myself right now)! Are you eating enough calories? Also, what helps me lose weight is to just pig out within reason on one day of the week! It gets your metabolism going. Also, if that doesn't work chose two days to go crazy. I hit a plateau at 155 lbs for a long time and finally got out of it and down to 145. You will be ok. Also, one thing that is hard for me to remember-only eat if you are hungry and take a break before eating something else. It takes your body 30 minutes to digest and tell you if it needs food. Sorry I just wrote a lot. I kinda needed to get most of that out for myself and I hope it may help you.

staps, its ok if you splerge a little on vacation! You will make up for it when you get done with vacationing. Also, its actually good for you to be bad for a while to speed up your metabolism.
