Gained again this week; not terribly worried, though. However, it may be time for me to start exercising seriously.
Late checking in, had two clients this morrning.
Sunday morning--decided to check weight and it was 180.8.
It doesn't "count" in the sense that I won't make it official as I have always weighed on Saturdays, even before joining this group, but it does show how my weight can fluctuate.
If this holds true for everyone, then we as a group might be making more progress than we know.
I suggest posting our statistics on Google Spreadsheets.

Significant loss. I have a theory about this which I want to think about further, but the gist is that I did some work to let go of a resentment, which I felt was hampering me in another area, one related to a newly-acquired character defect. That has shown improvement, and I believe the weight loss is related, in that by being willing to let go of that resentment, I became willing to let go of some more stored fat.
Today is sort of a milestone: I'm close to being within 25# of my goal, I've lost just at 25% of the weight I started at in July 2007, and I'm at a body fat percentage of 30.3%, which is in the "overweight" category rather than "obese".

Im at 170lbs this week. Am glad that haven't gained that much considering the rubbish i've been eating lately.
It's strange its as though i dont want to let myself get below 12 stone (168).
Links to what you were saying dinarly; if i get below 168 then i will be a new person in a way because i have never been that weight. Also i cant use being over weight as an excuse to not do certain things in my life that i have a problem with... sounds weird but its true. So maybe i need to deal with those things before i can get the weight off....?

235 today! Movement once again. Lowered my Eat Meter to 2Kand started eating calories burned back and Zig-zagging somewhat to keep my body guessing.
I'll be away at a convention next week; can be very tempting;I don't want to lose ground I've gained but am scheduled for a 5K while I'm there.

I would think that your career goals would be your prime motivator. As you learn more, you will inevitably see that health is needed for every human aspiration that follows, and will gradually align yourself more and more with that vision.
You may still be gaining muscle and bone, so actual weight is not so important for you as health and strength.

Thanks dinarly, weight is important for me as i'm trying to get a healthy bmi. I think you're right with health though; the food i eat is not healthy so maybe if i eat better foods as well as counting the calories i may start loosing again.
