Saturday Weigh-In Group (That Rocks :-) Thread #3 August 1, 2008--
Previous thread is getting big, and it's high summer.
An ongoing group for people who want to lose weight, and who are willing to weigh themselves every Saturday and report here to the group.
I'll start off with my stats: 55, female, United States, started CC August 26, 2007 weighing 218#, down from 235# when I started a weight loss plan set up by Kaiser Permanente, and with a goal weight of 150#. I now weigh 169.6#, as of today, Saturday August 2, 2008.

sorry am late this week been crazy busy.
Am 170lbs this week. I need to exercise and count my calories properly; am getting really lazy because it's taking ages to loose the weight.
I'm an all or nothing person though so once i get back in the swing of things it should happen again?

Hi, can I join your group? I just started with CC a couple of days ago and would like to join a weigh-in group. Current stats:
- Female
- 44 Years Old
- 255 lbs (How did that happen?)
- Goal: 150 lbs by September 2010.

Gain--disappointed but not terribly surprised. My body apparently wants to weigh around 170 pounds, so I need to find some way, short of starvation (I'm exaggerating actually, but I really get hungry when I don't eat at least 1600 calories a day, and sometimes even when I do.), to convince it differently.
I was surprised following a gain last week I'm to down 1.4 lbs to hit 168 (yea!) Go figure, last week I worked out 5 days of cardio and 3 w/ weights and gained 0.8 . . .this week because I was discouraged and super busy and stressed at work I didn't work out one day, cheated (a lot) and now I lose! Do you ever just want to have a little chat with your "body" and tell it to behave ![]()
dinarly - your total weigh loss is fantasitic! I was really discouraged last week as well . . .have you tried that zig zagging calories? I keep reading about it and it seems like it works and I think I did that last week without trying . . .Might be worth a try. Hang in there, I only hope I can do as well as you.
I haven't zig-zagged systematically, but I'm really inclined to try it. This week might be good, as I'm coming down with a cold or something.

Sorry, i'm a little late with weighing in. I have been very busy! Anyways, I have unfortunately gained. I am now at 151. Need to be better!
