Hi Katy, most of us here have been emotional eaters for along time. What works for me is to eat at regular times to avoid those binges. It does not always work and when it does not I am easy on myself so I recover quickly and get back on track. Good luck and God bless.
I decded I qualify as an emotional eater. Sometimes I am great with eating healthy and not too much. Other times like last weekend I eat out of boredom not 1 but several low cal ice cream treats. I can only admit that here. Last night before my weight in today I went upstairs to my bedroom after dinner to keep me from snacking in the kitchen The living room is just too close to the fridge etc..
It paid off. I finally lost and entire pound in one week. That may not sound like alot but i have only been losing 1/2 pound/week for 1 month. so now I have a total of 2 and 1/2 lbs. at least i am on the down trend. I eat 1500c/day which the puter says will take me ove 1 year to lose 40 lbs It recommeded 1200c/day but I tried 1200/day and I just was too hungry.
Thanks for keeping this thread going. We can do it w/ ea/ others support!
