Why The Scale Lies

Very good article. It doesn't mean you ditch the scale. It means if you know you have behaved, if you see a fluctuation, you know it isn't permanent, and the scale will correct in a day or so.
Excellent. Thanks for sharing!
This is a great article. When i first started my diet i would weigh myself in the morning after breakfast cause i didn't have a scale. After i bought my own, i weigh myself in the morning before having any food or water. I try to wait until i have a BM lol.

So anyways, now i weigh myself in the morning and night. I love to see how my weight fluctuates with everything i've eaten/drank through out the day. I don't expect to lose, i actually expect to see a gain. But it's always 2lbs. So i find it amazing how a body works.

This was a neat article thanks for posting it
Very informative and practical- thank you so much for posting. I truly needed this insight!
Thank you for that article. I had a nonsensical fluctuation today and this makes me feel better.
that's a very interesting article. thank you for posting it. it makes me feel a little bit better about fluctuations and such...
Very interesting! The info in this article will definitely keep me from getting discouraged about a few lbs popping up here and there.

Thanks!
Thank you so much.  I've been a postvacation slump because I thought I gained three lbs but it fell off wihtint 5 days of coming home.  I now understand why.  I feel so relieved.
i agree with everything this article is preaching...but honestly, if someone puts on 20lbs, i dont think that is 20lbs of glycogen or salt!!

so would it be far to say if you lose 20lbs, 15-17lbs of that is fat and the rest metabolic???
Glad you enjoyed the article.  I have bookmarked it, and refer to it on occasion!  :)

scales are evil! bwhahah. lol no.
but thanks. the article was awesome.
Your skin absorbs about a pound of water, so try weighing yourself both before and after a morning shower and see for yourself.I

awesome article. thanks for posting :)
I'm wondering if I take a quick, shorter shower, if my skin will absorb less water, LOL?!

Rachel
thank you!  I've bookmarked it for future reference.  Now we know the reason behind those fluctuations!
